Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: All OK with COHR? The market seems to like the latest results posted last night. Any red flags? I'm a "Buy and Hold" investor and I'm not overweight in COHR so I'm just planning to do nothing! I don't think Mr. Trump's tariffs will be an issue with this company and COHR don't seem to be to be overly reliant on AI spending. Any comments you have would be appreciated.

Q: This is not a question, just a comment so I'm not sure what other forum there is for me to do that

I see that you recommend BEP and BIP for income investors . I think you should highlight that because these are partnerships, the income is a combination of dividends , interest and foreign income . So a form t5013 will have to be filed and not all the income from the partnership is taxed with the favourable dividend tax treatment . Luckily, neither of these has $US business , therefor are not subject to the 10% withholding
cheers

Q: I want to invest in the oil and gas service sector; primarily in western Canada, im not interested in the producers as I believe the Trump effect will eventually reduce the price of oil for the producer but not the service sector as I believe they will become busier due to the concept of drill baby drill! I would like to purchase TRP;PD but would also like to ask if you support this idea and provide any service names you like? Thank you.

Q: Can you comment on the major share sales of the insiders. I know the stock has gone up a lot so their overall exposure is up and some selling is warranted, but does this concern you at all? Some of the insiders after these sales, no longer have direct ownership of CLS shares, although I'm sure they have many options.

What would be a good entry price for this? Thanks!
