Q: Hi team,

Looking for stocks or ETFs actively using AI.

What do you think of CCCS-Q, INBS-Q, REAI-Q, ILAG-Q ? Would you be a buyer now ?

Any better options for a growth portfolio in a TFSA ?

Have a good day,

Jacques IDS

Q: Can you please explain what all this means, thanks.
The TSX will implement an "if, as and when issued" trading market commencing Sept. 25, 2024 and ending at the close of business on Oct. 1, 2024 for TC Energy Common Shares and common shares of South Bow (South Bow Common Shares).
The TC Energy Common Shares will resume "regular way" trading on the TSX and the NYSE on Oct. 2, 2024.
The spinoff is on Sep. 25th and the ex-dividend date for TRP is the 27th.

Q: It was less than two months ago when the Bank of Japan signaled its intention to increase Japan’s interest rates—a move that triggered a massive sell-off in US stocks. Now, the question lingers: If Japan indeed raises interest rates in the future, will history replay its enigmatic melody? Will this time Japan’s interest rate hike cast its spell upon the US stock market? Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team,

What would be your current 5 best (highest conviction) buys in each of the following categories please.
1. small cap
2. mid cap
Hold target is 3-10 years or longer.
I prefer these categories as they seem to have the most torque (in the right environment) albeit also the most risk.

Cheers,
Steve

Q: I need to increase my international exposure. My plan is to accomplish this through ETFs held in a non-registered account.

1) Can you please recommend two ETFs to achieve international exposure.

2) As a member of BMO Investorline I can access commission free ETFs and I am considering vanguard's VI ETF to increase international exposure. What are your thoughts on this ETF and how does it compare versus the ETFs recommended as part 1 of this question?

Thanks!

Q: Sir: I am old, but still need your advise…am taking profits on stocks and just want to keep up with ( true) inflation, and don’t need any more of anything… hate paying taxes… like simplicity… tempted to just invest in precious metals and energy… appreciate your thoughts…

Q: Retired relying solely on my public pensions. Have held DIR.UN for a long time. Just read your latest report. ACB is $3.27 after the ROCs. I hold 2700 units in TFSA which I am orienting towards a growth portfolio instead of income. Would you agree this equity is a candidate to move to my balanced cash account before year end to give it a higher ACB, continue to hold and maybe even add to it?
