Q: I phoned TD Waterhouse last month with a question and heard a baby crying and a dog barking in the background . I have heard stories about staff in the public service preferring to continue working at home . I have a friend at in a Fortune 100 co. who has been working from her home work station . If this carryover continues , will tenants be reducing their commitments to major landlords as their space needs are reduced ?

Q: Hello 5i!
At this point in the cycle can you please rate the following as buy, sell or hold. I know you sometimes say in a different kind of market high growth can do well. Can you please comment on whether one should decrease technology holdings in general or just wait for tech to shine again one day. Thank you!

Q: Hello Peter,
Is VFV and XSP about the same except one is hedged? I have held Sienna and Chartwell for a long time and I thought from a demographic point , they would be great long term holds.. I am down alot but the dividend is great. Are these two good long term holds or since covid, the recovery maybe too long of a time given the high interests that we see. Thanks very much

Q: Hi 5i
I see you've added DIR.UN to the reports. That's good news.
I bought Dream Ind. 6 years ago because of your OK comments about Dream at that time. I'm up just over 100% and have nice dividends. So thank you very much Peter.
Do you have any other industrial reits that you feel are OK ?
Thx for your hard work
Gerry

Q: I have chosen WELL as a positive example but I am puzzled by the apparent lack of performance for the sector. We have a health care problem; scads of people do not have a family doctor. I know the difficulty involves more than the services WELL can provide BUT I would have thought services such as those provided by companies like WELL would have been in demand, would have been able to provide some relief, their valuations would have prospered even during their development, and investors would have seen some benefits. Yet the sector valuations flounder. What am I missing?

Q: Hi everyone at 5i!!
I bought this stock prior to the market drop and am now 47% in the hole with it. I can either sell it and take a loss and buy it back later, or keep it for the next 5 years in hopes it will rebound. In these situations I sometimes don’t know what to do. I don’t need the money at the moment and having owned the stock before and done well with it I think it should do well again. Your musings would be welcome ! Cheers, Tamara

Q: Hi 5i, today you replied to Warren's question on DTOL, "and we would be comfortable letting this one go given the comparable attractive buying opportunities right now in the tech space. ".

Please provide 3 to 5 companies that meet the above response, thx.

Q: Hello 5i,
Continuing on Pietro’s question posted on Oct 31, 2022, please recommend a few (3 to 6 companies) good buying opportunities in the cyclical sector.

Thanks,

Q: When you last commented on PDI you said "Okay with". Noting the one year return on fund value is minus 15% but the long term returns seem to be in the 8-10% range. I am in it for the dividend (I'm retired). Do you think the ~ 13% dividend is safe long term ? And how much of that 13% is ROC ? What are your overall thoughts on this one ??
