Q: Hi, I know you like DIR ,I have invested in DIR. for an around 3 years in an rrsp and am down a little but has a good dividend.
Would like to switch out to something a little more growth oriented and was looking at MEQ.
First thing would you have any thoughts on whether this is a good switch.
Second would you have a any of your own suggestions to replace or reduce DIR.UN.
Thanks

Q: seen in the globe and mail this morning even after bce stocks got hammered in the last year and very good possibility of dividend getting cut ceo mirko bibic still received a bonus of 2.4 million dollars last year on top of his wage. after all the layoffs and stock at some 15 year low. is there no shame anymore with ceos as they are only looking after themselves. They always seem to end up on right side of the company no mattter what and as bce the one time stock called orphan and widow stock shareholders get hurt again. Will this ever stop?
Q: BKNG has consistently found its way into your high conviction “top 10” type lists in response to member questions, including very recently for a 3 to 5 year hold. Just curious about your current thinking of when/how to step in to a new position? I’m puzzling over the shorter term and the latest concerns over travel in and out of the U.S. and the possible effect on Bookings revenue?
Q: I will have about 100k to invest shortly, however requiring this money in 2 years time. How would you invest this money in this market? Is there appeal buying the “dip”, purchasing great businesses at a discount? Or is it too risky with my time frame? Money will be held in a TFSA. Thank you

Q: I hold Wsp in a tfsa and I am looking for a Canadian “construction” firm or similar company that I can pair with to take advantage of government infrastructure investment that will compliment Wsp. Recommendations and reasoning? Thanx.
Q: What is happening with Canadian Gold Corp (CGC.VN) lately... up 65% this month? I've held it for years now at a loss and am wondering whether to quit while I'm ahead or hang on to it. (It was a bit of good news amidst this overall mess.)
Q: You recently suggested to Brian that alumine would be a good buy. You have generally been positive on lumine. I have some but have been hesitant to buy more. In contrast, I have a full 5% and even more in CSU. For an older person with a more or less balanced portfolio and with some risk tolerance, what percentage would you suggest?
Thanks as always for your great work

Q: Good Evening
My question is about FC -Firm Capital Mortgage Corporation.
In your universe there are several convertible unsecured FC debentures but not the actual FC.
Can you please provide some information about this company. Their dividend was not cut since 2004. Is it suitable for an investor who is interested in relatively less risky investments with predictable income streams.
Thank you.

Q: Down 47% on CTS. Up on TOI 33% and LMN 22% on taxable account. My question is it time to let go of CTS and increase the other two? Also have NVDA in this account essentially even. All were bought at the same time. Thanks
Q: I just read that you are saying there is a 10% tax on the sale of limited partnership shares. Is that only for US LPs? Or are you saying that when I sell my bip.un shares, that i will have to pay a 10% tax on the proceeds, independent of whether there is a gain or loss from the sale?

Q: Just to clarify- when you discuss a companies P/E ratio are you referencing forward or "backward"?
Q: What should I understand about “Target Price?”
For example, what is the implied time horizon?; is this meant to guide investment decisions of buying and selling based upon forecast highs and lows?
Since you include this in your Company Profiles I assume that it provides something valuable.
