Q: Hi, We own above Canadian banks, which makes up the financial sector of our portfolio.

On an YTD basis, interestingly, their performance has diverged significantly, with CM +7%, RY +2.5% and TD -9%. During past 30 days (reflecting impact of recent crisis in financial sector SVB/SB), these names have declined as follows : CM -7%, RY -8% and TD -17%. Does it mean that market is assigning higher risk to TD, relative to its peers ? Does it make one name more attractive than others, and if so why, if we wish to take advantage of the sizable decline in their share prices, and add for long term investment ?

Thank You

Q: I am looking at reconfiguring my newly established RRIF into the above equities with the 3 etf’s being 25% each with the remaining 5 stocks being the remaining 25%. What is your opinion of these stocks and portfolio composition? Am I being too cute ? Thanks. Derek.

Q: I would appreciate your comments on AKE, an Australian lithium producer that trades on the TSE. It earns $1.05/year and has PE of 9.19. Revenue is growing rapidly and margin is 40%. Revenue is forecast to grow 16%/year. The Globe did a screen yesterday that showed the company 74% undervalued. Sounds too good to be true.

Q: Regarding Mark's question today about his trading in the TFSA. I am with BMO Investorline, I sold a stock and was going to use the funds to buy a GIC. I was notified by Investorline that the funds from the sale would be available in 2 days when the sale transaction would be fully completed. Made sense to me.

Q: I got a voting instruction form from INMD. Of note they are asking to increase the number of ordinary shares from 100M to 200M, essentially doubling the share count. They claim their current share count doesn't provide flexibility for future financial and capital requirements for the pursuit of opportunities. They also say the shares can be used for potential share dividends or splits should the board decide. Are there any red flags here? They did a split in 2021. Just wondering if this concerns you or is it regular business operations and the mgmt seems to know what they are doing?
Thx

Q: I hold XYLD and CIC, they are the only covered call ETFs I hold and I am new to them. Is there a way to track or find charts on their total yield? I seem to only find charts of their change in NAV which make them look like dogs, while they return 13% and 8% The other question I have about them is , why are they not drip eligible?
Thanks

Q: I had an interest charge of $13 on my TFSA statement (investorsedge CIBC). Because I sold and bought on the same day - they agreed to wave it but told me I had to wait 2 days now on my TFSA after selling to access the cash.
Comments, thoughts? Anyone else have similar or different experiences?
