Q: Dear Peter et al:
To my question on June 29th, you had suggested these three as your safe picks amongst US banks. (You also included C,BAC,WFC. But I have chosen to highlight the top three.
From tomorrow the earnings reports will start trickling in, starting with JPM.
Should one wait or start taking positions from today! Going forward, what is your prediction for these three banks?
Many thanks.
Mano.

Q: Do recent results change your perspective of consumer discretionary, small caps, fashion, growth or other parallels to aritzia?
Q: Are the strikes going to boost or lower Nutrien’s stock price in the short/term-long term…trying to get my head around he supply/demand logistics. Thank you.
Q: Can you suggest 2 names in the tech sector for long term holds in an RRSP?
They would be purchased in the next month or two.
Thank you!

- BMO Canadian Dividend ETF (ZDV)
- iShares S&P/TSX Composite High Dividend Index ETF (XEI)
- Vanguard FTSE Canadian High Dividend Yield Index ETF (VDY)
- Global X Canadian High Dividend Index Corporate Class ETF (HXH)
Q: I am looking for the top 2 Canadian dividend ETFs to hold mostly in registered accounts. I screened for MERs less than about 0.4 and current yields of about 4.5% or more and came up with: ZDV, XEI and VDY. How would you rank these for long-term holdings; best first. XEI is tied for the lowest MER and has the highest yield, with 29% energy, 29% financial and 17% utilities. VDY has the largest AUM at $2B but high financials at 54% and low utilities at 6%. Finally, I would like to invest in HXH in unregistered accounts but I am concerned about the low daily trading an small AUM at $92M. Thank you!!
Q: Hi 5i team. Can I have your thoughts on this company as an investment. Recently it's gotten a few upgrades in its target price.
Thanks Ken
Thanks Ken
Q: Hello,
I have ATZ at a loss in my TFSA, so no benefit from the loss if I sell. In this situation and with a 5 year+ timeline, would you see ATZ as a hold, or are there other growth stocks you would have more confidence in? Thanks.

- Opera Limited (OPRA)
- Redfin Corporation (RDFN)
- Lemonade Inc. (LMND)
- C3.ai Inc. Class A (AI)
- Duolingo Inc. (DUOL)
Q: MF came out with a list of AI today, and they are all up today, presumably on the news. Is there a concern that this is turning into a bubble? I know there will be spending here, but is it getting away into the danger-zone? I am considering an etf that captures a wide swath of AI. Are you able to suggest something? Thanks!

Q: 5I team: Being a retired income investor and stuck on the nice yield for this fund I can still not be keen on it's substantial return of capital. Can you advise on a better alternative etf or fund for hands off solid yield as a replacement? Tks. Larry
Q: For NET.UN:CA / Canadian Net REIT:
Thinking of re-entering this position. Seems like the distribution is well covered. Is the price in a good spot to get into given interest rates are elevated and perhaps increasing more in the near future?

Q: Good morning 5i
In an answer to an earlier question on bn you mentioned that 5i holds less than 4 per cent of this stock in the balanced portfolio. I found this a bit surprising, given your generally favourable attitude towards BN. I know there are numerous variables involved in choosing a stock for a portfolio. But I was just curious as to your reasoning
Second question has to do with LMN, which you are also favourable towards. I know that you cannot make individual portfolio decisions but i would appreciate your general opinion. I have received less than one percent of this stock from the split off and have been thinking about selling it or adding to it. The question comes down to whether it is an appropriate stock for a retired person, albeit one who can afford to and does take moderate risk, to hold. Although it is small and new, i am encouraged by its association with csu.
Thanks for your great service
