Q: Algoma Central price is now down where it is affordable after it split.Is it a buy for long term? Thanks

Q: Enhanced etf's: examples, HEX, HEE and HEP. These are high yielding products at current prices at least partly due to the slump in the underlying or component commodities or stocks. Taking HEX as case in point: can the 85 cent dividend be expected to continue as the share prices of the gold producers increase.

Q: As someone approaching retirement I am looking at tilting my portfolio towards income. What metrics would you use in evaluating an income stock for a long term hold? In particular is it a red flag if the dividend is not covered by the free cash flow? Even if its well covered by earnings. This appears to be the case for Trans Canada (TRP).

Q: Happy New Year 5i! My husband and I are going to put the full $5500. into each of our TFSA accounts. We are 67 and 69 years of age and fully retired. We still would like growth and income in these accounts as we hope that we won't have to touch these accounts for some years to come. What would you recommend for us? We are so appreciative of the excellent advice that you offer.

Q: Thanks for all your good work in 2012. Never mind the Boxing Day sales, you guys are the biggest bargain on Bay Street! I've done some annual Christmas clean-up by dumping Parallel Energy Trust(PLT) for a tax loss. Am looking at staying in the sector by replacing it with Eagle Energy Trust(EGL). Any thoughts?

What are your thoughts on Potash Corp of Sask( POT ) for 2013? It seems to have been range bound for a long time and since farmers don't have to apply potash every year do you think the demand will be there from either China or North America farmers? Thanks O.K.
