Q: Bonterra Energy Corp BNE:TSX. I am considering this stock for income, stability and some modest growth. (How would it compare with CPG). YOUR COMMENTS WILL HELP.

Q: Hey fellas. Any insights on guys runnnig websites boasting 100% returns in a relatively short period of time or a 90% success rate? I figure, if these guys were legit they'd be running portfolios for global financial institutions instead of soliciting for subscribers over the internet in order to get access to their "real time stock picks". Your thoughts on these type of "services" would be appreciated.
What should one do if you are fully invested and and you feel there is some sort of 5-10% correction on the horizon. Should one sell some positions or stay fully invested. If one sells some strong performers, at their 52 week highs, would that be a wrong move. What should be the srategy in such a situation.
Q: I read with regret your article about fraudsters.
Unfortunately I got caught up in a stock that crashed, the true reason not yet known.
Sino Forest is sitting at about 7% of its original value when s#!+ hit the fan.
I'm not even sure if I can even sell what I have at this point.
Could you shed some light on this stock, and if you think there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.
Keep up the good work!

Q: Can you please offer your thoughts on CSI-T compared to some other higher grade developmental plays (such as PVG among others. Are this a good stage in development to invest in precious metal companies?

Q: Hi folks, thanks for your helpful replies. I'm considering BMO's preferred share ETF, ZPR. It holds only rate reset pfds and uses a 5 year ladder. I think it would be a safe investment with a decent yield. I was poking around a few sites and came across prefinfo.com in which the following is noted about it's Malachite Aggressive Preferred Fund. "...for instance it is not required to hold such classes of shares as floating rate issues which are expected to underperform in the foreseeable future." I was of the view that the reset to a floating rate provides a mechanism to maintain the yield, provided the rate is somewhere in the range of 3% over a 5 year Canada, which is fairly common. What do you think about the reset factor as it pertains to yield and of the ZPR? Thanks Tim....
Q: You had answered today from George's question that you had posted your top three selections for the National Post Contest, which no longer exist. Can you please advise where you posted your selections? Thanks!!
