Q: re: ATP.DB.A Atlantic Power subordinated debenture 6.25% 15 March 2017 @$13.00 Trading at $85
I know your coming out with a report on ATP not good,but how safe do you think this debt will be, at discount on maturity will work out to be approx 10% per year

Q: Hi 5i team.
I am a shareholder of Canacol Energy (CNE ) based in Calgary and would like to know the implications of their shares added to the Nasdaq, Amex, Nyse, OTCBB, and pinksheet naked short lists. Peter answered my question on CNE about a month ago and was quite upbeat about their outlook for 2013.

Q: Hi 5i Team Further to questions asked by Gordon and others concerning the accounting at the Brookfields complex, I own BIP and BEP and I'm worried too specially because I have had previous experience with the Hees/Edper complex. The largest ever lost in my portfolio (I'm a conservative investor) was Royal Trust. It was tucked away in a similar complex of cross holdings and lost over 90% of its value in the early 90's. It was supposed to be a safe holding. Please could you keep a close eye on these guys for us? Henry

data on why to buy ETF's VS Mutual Funds. Those fees just keep rising !

Q: MBC MBAC Fertilizer has fallen quite a bit. Two of the houses who helped MBC raise funds at $2.70 last fall and more recently at $3.40 seemed quite willing to sell me shares below these offering prices. Two questions: Do you like MBC here and why would these houses do this kind of selling to their customers?

Q: Hi Peter,

If a company makes an all time high does it merit an investment.
I bought kbl and wpk on those grounds coupled with your fundamentals and its working nice for me. It would also be nice to know when to book profits.

Q: Hi Peter. I've been following Nordic American Tanker { NAT } Recently it has had a pretty fair move to the upside, But still yields around 6.5%. My first question is: Is there a web site I can monitor VLCC daily rates. NAT's break even point is around $1250 per day. And what are your thoughts on the future of this stock.

Q: Hi Peter,

I recently came across an article in the Financial Post regarding shipping oil & gas by rail and the backlog of orders for the specialized tank cars for doing so. The article mentions the major producers of tank cars: Trinity Industries (TRN), Greenbier (GBX) as well as American Railcar (ARII). I'd love to hear your thoughts on those companies in this regard.
