Q: I would like your opinion on the large amount of insiders selling PBG (Petrobank) in December, after the announcement but before the reorganization of Petrobank where they distributed the shares of Petrobakken to Petrobank share holders.
Then on Jan 3rd after the reorganization many of the insiders were buying PBG, PBG is almost trading at it's cash on hand.
Also can you recommend a book on insider trading, Iv'e been following insider trading for the last year and seem to be doing fairly well.
Thanks

Q: What are your thoughts on Kinross gold corp (k)? It seems to be bouncing between its 200 and 50 day moving average. Is this stock going to go any where soon? Has management got their act together finally?
Q: Although I don't mind shopping at Sears (SCC), I wouldn't want to invest in it. How's their valuations? Is it just competitors beating them now and eventually Target?

Q: Hello, Peter.
I hold a very small position in Canadian Lithium (CLQ.TO)and I am considering adding to it. It appears that the commissioning of the plant in Quebec is well underway and, hopefully, the first shipment will happen by the end of Q1. I would appreciate your view of the company.
Thank you,
Ed

Q: Could you please give me your view of the Canadian Bond market. We have a fund that follow the Dex Universe Bond Index. Recently , we have heard that a lot of managers think that bonds are at risk for a downturn and that they are drastically reducing their exposure to this sector.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I would appreciate any input you can provide regarding fixed income holdings the current environment. I currently hold short term corporate bonds via RQA and RQB. However, the yield to maturity on these products seems quite low to me (1.45% & 1.82% respectively). My time horizon is 15 to 20 years at least.

Q: I am a long term holder of SU - Suncor. It has not done much over the last few years and with Canadian oil prices so low, and not looking like they will rebound unless a pipeline is approved, is it time to get out of SU and into something outside of Canada that gets world price for oil - such as PMG or Ithaca or Husky or something else? Your thoughts.
Q: I would like to add a software company to my portfolio and I have been looking at Constellation Software. I am concerned that the stock price is very high. Do you think it is over bought at this time. It is trading at $120.02 today.
thanks Peter and team for your great work.

Q: I want to create a financial section of my portfolio. Somewhere between 15 and 20 %. I have been considering adding BMO and NA which are trading at 10 and 8 times earnings and yielding 4.3 and 4.66%. I think a good entry point would be a yield of 5%. Could you comment on the portfolio percentage, stock choices {are there better ?} and entry prices ?
Thanks Garth

Q: Hi Peter and Team, follow-up to STO question. If you recommend selling STO into strength, then I was thinking of using some of the proceeds to averaging down with the cash, into Pinecrest, PRY? Yes/No? Average cost of PRY is about 2.50. Any further thoughts on PRY, and why its share price continues to drop still? They received an easy 12.5M from STO!
Thanks, Hussein

Q: Hi Peter and Team, all the best to everyone in 2013. Thanks for the great service in 2012 from you and your team. Finally, someone honest, helping the honest little guy/gal!
Regarding Spartan, STO...what to do here? Sell into strength or go with Bonterra, BNE? If go with BNE, then your thoughts and insight on BNE would be greatly appreciated.
Any thoughts/information on Obernorf Entities aquiring so many shares of STO?
Thanks, Hussein
