Q: I have done quite a bit of research and really like the growth prospects of ZCL and CCT. I know they are in completely different industries. Do you have a preference between the two?
Q: Hi Peter, I'm finally above water on Suncor and am looking for a better dividend paying energy stock to replace Suncor with.
Which do you think would be the best of the two choices for a long term hold BTE or CPG ? I would also be adding these to my TFS and taking DRIPS on them.
Thanks, Den.
Q: Amaya and earnings releases.
Do you think the next release will be the annual and that it'll be in March?
If you have general info on when/why a company would release a 4th quarter vs having it included in the annual would be interesting.

Q: Verde Potash (NPK)
Verde is presenting in Vancouver on the 20th and in Brazil on the 21st of Jan.
Do presentations by companies at events such as these really do much or are they just kind of fluff?
I'm also curious about 5i's opinion if Verde could be benefiting from Brazil Central Bank easing reserve rules, easier to get a large loan from a Brazilian bank promoting industry?
General thoughts? Still think it will be quiet or better chance now of things happening?
Thanks for your time.

Q: You obviously think highly of BP.UN, but of course the response provided is related to the specific question asked or the list of stocks to choose from. Comparatively, you also think highly of GIB.a and therefore, it seems to be a toss whether one is preferable to the other, except that for income purposes, BP.UN provides income and GIB.a does not. Correct overall ?
Q: There seems to be many websites to track US earnings dates, for example earnings.com, yahoo finance. Do you know of any Canadian websites where you can enter a ticker symbol and find out which date earnings are released? Thanks
Q: Thanks Peter and all the team at 5i. Wonder on your view of MSI for the next 2 to 3 years as both an income play and for capital appreciation in the current economic environment?
Q: Hello and Happy New Year!
I have a question regarding Keyera Facilities (KEY). 100 shares with a purchase price under $25/share. This is within a TFSA and is primarily for the dividend, however the recent run-up makes we wonder whether to cash out and look to re-purchase upon a pullback. Not sure what is pushing the price up currently or how sustainable the current share price is. If possible, thoughts or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks!!
Q: Your comments on GLN in mid 2012 were: Big management credibility gap. May be a broken growth name .Street love-affair sours.
Aside from a decent price increase, has GLN improved in any other areas since then?
Q: With respect to the question by Terrance today, there seems to be a confusion with DD (New York) and DD (Toronto). The latter is the stock referred to in the 5i report, and has nothing to do with chemicals.
Q: Just raised some cash and debating my next infrastructure/ power play: BEP.UN, ALA, KEY, PPL or BAD - do you have thoughts? I want to choose only one. Thanks for the various insights to the Canadian market. Brent
Q: Hi Peter and company I purchased a rather large number of shares of Automodular (AM), a company I had never heard of before I subscribed to your service. It has been a fantastic winner so thank you very much. But where is it going now? From my BMO recognia value analyzer, I see it has about 20M shares, no debt, 15m in cash and equivalents and an 8 % yield(approximate figures rounding price to $3). So it looks like it still has room to run. What do you think.
Q: DCI recently announced the appointment of Brenda Hughes as CFO effective immediately, replacing Brian Kathol, who served for only 18 months. She is the sixth CFO since the company's IPO in December 2004.Should we be concerned about the appointment of a new CFO and the high level of turnover in this position, especially during the integration of two large international acquisitions?
Thank you.
Q: MG
Hello 5i....I've renewed:)) Do you think Magna is a "good company", and is it a keeper rather than a sell at say a target price of $55? Do you know if they have any plans to raise their dividend? Many thanks. Susan
Q: Hi, Peter and team: I'm considering taking a position in Richards Packaging (RPI.UN). Their 3rd quarter 2012 results gave a figure of 62% for payout ratio (up from 59% a year earlier). My discount broker shows Richards with a payout ratio of 149.80 (?). I'm having a bit of a problem with payout ratios. I don't know whether higher is good or bad. I'd appreciate any help in this area. Thanks, Dale
Q: Hi, guys. Any thoughts if riocan will be eager to pull the trigger on another acquisition if they lose out on primaris?
Secondly, do you see any other comparibles to pmz.un on the market. To me, par.un (partners reit) looks a little similar with their portfolio of shopping malls in secondary markets, but I could be totally wrong in this assessment.
And lastly, do you think this deal will re-rate companies with higher quality retail properties, even though they may own other asset classes as well (ie mrt.un)?
