Q: Hi, on a Jan 20th comment you said U.S. dividends are subject to a 15% withholding tax, which can be partly recoverable? What do you mean by that? Is there a form we would have to fill out for tax filing? Or is it already calculated in our T forms? My 2nd question is how do we claim a tax loss on bankrupt companies that are not tradable anymore and is just unfortunately sitting there in our accounts?

Q: Wonderful concept and information. As Canada is a small market, with little exposure to some sectors, will you ever be reporting on foreign investments? (assuming geographic diversification is a good thing, especially when the CAD$ is high?)

Q: Low volume has always been a concern for me when choosing a company, yet 13 of the companies on this site regularly trade below 30,000 shares a day and 7 trade below 10,000. Could you share your thoughts on low volume and how that affects your choice of companies? Thank you.

Q: Hello - I am looking at taking a position in Trevali (TV) I realize Peru can be a concern for miners but I understand the location of their mine is now in the area where the main issues have occurred. They are just going into production and there are a lot of analysts with buys on this stock. I think they are fully funded going forward but am not positive on this. They are supposed to be ramping up 1st quarter. You perspective and insight would be helpful. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter, Can you give me your comments on CIN (Canadian International Minerals)... it's been quite a dog and I missed selling it late December for tax loss purposes. I was planning to hold CIN for the remainder of this year and sell in December of no improvement. Thanks DAN

Q: Hi Peter, some quick thoughts on Carpathian Gold. Seems they are trading at a discount and are about to become a producer and there seems to be no value added to their resource in Romania. T.CPN

Q: Hi Peter, any thoughts on Brazil Resources, BRI. They are not a producing company as yet, however, the management behind it seems very experienced in bringing this company to a producer and also the majority shareholders behind it are fairly well known people in the industry like Doug Casey, Rick Rule and Marin Katusa. This is probably a long term risky play

Q: Further to Gamehost (GH), I like the yield and relative stability of the business. While the dividend is currently well covered by cash flow they are carrying a deficit (accumulated losses) of about %50 million on the B-S. To what extent is this a concern. Thx.
