Q: Hi team, I have sat on the sidelines watching cash store CSF for some time now. They have paid a dividend in the past and recently the shares have taken another dive. With Canadians willingness to pile on debt, is it time to take a chance on a company that is in short term, high interest lending market. Does this stock price represent an opportunity or should an investor just stay away. Thanks

Q: On July 28, 2012, you were kind enough to comment on Hardwoods Distribution (HWD). The earnings continue to surprise, and the stock has risen to new highs today. Q4 earnings are scheduled to be released in mid-March. HWD has fantastic leverage to the US housing market.Coremark initiated coverage this week, the first to do so since 2009. I anticipate even higher earnings and perhaps an increase in dividends. Would you speculate on HWD at these levels?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Peter,
I have a question with AAPL. I have read your comments earlier about it. The company is going to decide what to do with its excess cash. Is it something which is going to prices of the stock in an upward trend and what would be the direction the market might take whrn the actual news comes out? Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and 5i: I'm wondering if a buying opportunity is materialising on Acadian Timber (ADN). After an unprecedented spike upward from its rising slope it has fallen back through its 50 day moving average. Meanwhile WFT and IFP.A have held in much more closely to their 52 wk highs and presumably the US housing recovery macro story behind it all is still intact. Is there an important piece of the picture that I am missing that would differentiate ADN from the others? Would you still see ADN as a reasonable buy at this point? Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter and 5i: In answering previous questions on Precious Metals and Mining Trust (MMP.UN) you have mentioned that it has trsded at a premium to NAV. I know that NAV is itself a moving target but I'm wondering how much lower MMP.UN needs to go before it gets there. Also, you have mentioned that you think the gold price moves higher this year so what are the main forces you see that would account for that? Thanks!

Q: CML Healthcare CLC-T. What is your opinion of this stock?
Q: BEP.UN misses estimates in more then one area yet SP holds up??? What are your thoughts? Is there a better long-term div. payer that you would recommend?
Q: I am somewhat confused by your A rating for BEP.UN. I undertand it is a solid, safe company with a reasonable distribution. Using your charts, you show it as having had a 4.0% gain and producing a 4.0% yield. However, when I compare it with the other A and A- stocks from your ratings that I also own (BAD, BYD.UN, CSU, ESL, and STN) it is substantially inferior on a relative basis. That being so, why does it have the same rating as those stocks. I am going to select the private option, but if you think it would be useful for othes to see your answer, feel free to make your answer public.
Q: Hi Peter, My question is regarding Woulfe Mining (WOF).
Ned Goodman recently was announced as joining the board as well as taking a substancial position.IMC Warren Buffets company has completed there due diligence and forwarded the Woulfe 5 mil but the hold up seems to be waiting for the Korean bank Shinhan to finalize the financing position.Price at.26 seems unbelievable? Your comments on is greatly appreciated.
Thank-you

Q: When investing anew in the oil patch, should one go for BTE rather than COS ? BTE seems to be struggling somewhat with the differentials, while COS gets a good price for its SCO, but struggles with improving production up to design capacity. Both have good reserves, but COS is there for the next 50 years. Obvious better anternatives to these two names ?
Q: Would you please update your comments on HNL in view of it's weak showing.

Q: Just Energy (JE), Would you continue to hold here? Is the new 84 cent dividend sustainable?
Q: I am interested in your thoughts on the Horizons Floating Rate Bond ETF (HFR). Is it a good place to park some cash for a six month holding period, how sustainable is the yield if bond prices go down, do you consider the .4% management fee reasonable. Thanks, Chuck
Q: syz...I have been accumulating since 2.00 level..Would you take partial profits at this level,or do you see growth continuing?
Q: Peter; TOU seems to be out of step with the rest of the gas players, which I like mind you. But do you think it is ahead of itself and one should trim some at these levels? Thanks.
