Q: For most of your reports I usually check some of the fundamental data against my sources (Stockwatch). When I looked at your recent report on BEP.UN I noticed that you show them as having a market cap of $7.6B. I saw that Stockwatch shows the market cap of $3.9B – so I inquired and they supplied me with this statement from the TSX (their source):
I have confirmed with our Listings Dept. that 132,884,483 units are issued and outstanding for BEP.UN - Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners LP. And that this balances with the company's "Form 1" for July 2012.
This is an issued and outstanding number and not fully diluted.
The number from the email below is most likely the fully-diluted number which TSX does not display on our site.
So I’m wondering what number is correct?
Please feel free to post my question and answer if you feel it would be helpful to others.

Q: Boston Pizza . On BPF.un . I have made a little money here but now I`m starting to get concerned . The pay out is 102% which the company has explained and I can except that for now . But , using borrowed money to buy back shares , up to 10% of the issued shares, puts up a red flag for me . I could see it , maybe , if the shares were vastly undervalued . But they are not . I would like to get your opinion before I hit the sell .
THANK YOU !

Q: Hi Peter, I have had LAS.A on T since it was $16. As you say, you can't get a 10 bagger without it being a 5 bagger first - yet I don't "want to fall in love with the stock". The stock is quite illiquid and has popped over the last few days - what's your take on its value here and do you think once they fully digest the Pappas purchase the stock has room to go up from here? Thanks, Rick
Q: A specific question about Mart Resources' (MMT) report: I have never heard of an oil or gas production company listing "pipeline losses," as a significant component of its production/earnings picture before, at least not apart from one-off disaster type events. Listing such losses as 18% of total production seems eye-popping. If a pipeline only gets 82% of its input to the end of the pipe, I would have thought that would be a serious issue on a couple of different levels. Is it just a veiled way of saying that they are being robbed? Thanks!
Q: (LGCY) legacy reserves LP has an over 8% dividend yield with a 65% pay out ratio, with a ROE over 30% percent. On paper it's sound good. I don't normally look at what the analysts say but in this case I did and they have it as a strong buy. It looks like they just acquire other companies. Despite all of this, I feel like it's too good to be true, can you give me some input?
Q: Hello and thanks for your opinions and information. BEP.UN has fallen somewhat in the last few days. Do you see this as a minor bump or is there something that has changed to cause this?
Q: Your thoughts on CHH please. The last quarter seemed better, yet no recovery. Really value this website, thank you.
Q: Hi Peter, TBE pays a nice dividend that exceeds their EPS; however their strong cash flow exceeds the dividend payout. Should such resource producers be judged on cash flow rather than on net earnings that are critical to judging a conventional operating company? What do you think of TBE? Thanks.
Q: read your answer on mmt, would you buy it here, it is your national post top pick for this quarter, or would you call these earnings a warning sign and sell.
Q: What are your views on MMT's recent earnings?
Q: Can I have your opinion on AIM-T?
Q: Hi Peter, I know that the outlook for uranium in the near term looks bleak, but if there is a turn around I feel the juniors will do well. I have been following Fission Energy (FIS) and Strathmore Minerals (STM) and would appreciate your opinion about both.
Q: What is your opinion about Saputo recently did a secondary IPO at 41.70?
Q: Have you ever looked at Mosaic Capital (M)? Could I have your comments on the stock and the company. Thanks.
Q: Peter I've owned KBL for a little over 2 years, and it is up 174% plus dividends.I don't want to get to greedy, & am considering selling this stock.I would be grateful for your opinion on KBL!?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi Peter.
Pan Orient just delivered a painful blow to the hip pocket. I'm surprised the hit was that big even though the upcoming special dividend is .75 cents. Are you too surprised and what would you think recovery time would be for POE shareholders such as I? Thank you and kind regards.

Q: Hi Peter, do you see P as a quality Mexican gold bet? Thanks.
Q: Hi Peter and team
My question concerns BIP.UN which I currently hold with a nice unrealized capital gain. Just yesterday, John Mauldin published a rather bearish analysis of Australia where BIP holds substantial infrastructure holdings. Do you have any thoughts on the vulnerability of BIP to a substantial commodity slowdown caused by hard or less hard landing in China.
Thanks
Ross
