Q: Is Niko (NKO)going to pull out of the financial problems they have, the way the stock price is dropping it appears the market thinks it is going to zero. Thanks
Q: Can you please provide your opinion of AbbVie? It has done well since being spun off from Abbott Labs and pays a nice dividend. However, it is not followed by any of the research services that I subscribe to so I am not entirely comfortable holding it. With CML out of the picture, my only other healthcare holding is JNJ. Should I consider replacing ABBV with VRX or perhaps PLB? Thank you.
Q: Hi Folks Extenway which has been doing well in P.Q. hospitals has now market broke into Ontario market. Any comments you have on EY would be appreciated. Enjoy Europe. Cheers wib
Q: Hello Peter & team,
I have followed your recommendations since inception & have done very well in a number of your positions. Thank you very much !
I am a retiree, with a 3 to 5 year time horizon, like dividends & some growth. My reit & real estate corp. holdings form 17.25% of my portfolio, & some are showing strain since the tapering debate began.- WB, NPR.UN, MRC, MKP, FCR, D.UN, DR.UN, CUF.UN, AP.UN, ACR.UN, all on the TSX.
November would be a good month for me to offset some realized capital gains.
Do you see any "glaring sells" above, or should I just hang in & hope for some sort of recovery. ( there are lots of good buys out there, ( GH, etc, etc).
Thanks in anticipation !
Q: Denison Mines (DML) offers to by 90% of all the shares of Rockgate Capital (RGT) at 0.192 share for each.
Presently (RGT) @ 0.21$ and (DML) @ 1.10$. The condition of purchase is the acceptance of at least 90% of RGT shares.
The proposition is to tender the shares.
Presently, the share price of RGT reflects the offer (0.192 x 1.10$= 0.21$)
In order to evaluate, if the offer is interesting, sell now, tender or not my shares, I need to know what will happen to the share price of RGT in either of those scenarios:
1- The offer goes through?
2- The offer's condition is not met?
Thanks to your team for a fantastic job, even during short staff period.
Q: Hi Peter and team, could you please provide your view on TCL.A and QBR.B. Both have performed well recently especially considering they both participate to some degree in print media. Are they still good buys. Thanks for the great service to date.
Q: Which do you prefer in the materials sector.... CHE.UN or CUS... ? Both pay a dividend in excess of 7% How will these companies react to rising interest rates? Are the dividends secure? As always, your insightful comments are invaluable. Thanks!
Q: I would like to know your opinion of Pizza Pizza, in particular the sustainability of the dividend and the experience of the management. I understand your reply may take a while and that is fine. Hope you all enjoy your sojourn in Europe.

Q: Hi Peter & Team:
Hope things are going well in Europe. IPL has completed the bought deal financing at 25.15 per share. Today the shares fell to 24.85. Is Mr market telling us that it is overpriced or is something else afoot?
