Q: Constellation has been "A" rated and I think it's no secret it is the current favourite 5i Canadian stock for numerous reasons, great chart. I'd like to know what CSU would need to do to earn an "A+" rating to rise above its very few "A" peers; would a stock split help? If CSU can't make "A+" what non-Canadian company might be on the horizon for the "A+" rating, recognizing it's not your area of expertise? If I'd never heard of 5i I would not have been in CSU since $115 and since the initial purchase have averaged up, and I sure wouldn't be in "A" territory! Thanks, 5i.

Q: MU, Micron USD-would you being buying this stock now for USD portion of portfolio vs Intel for example?
Q: AC.B, would you buy this stock now for a short term trade? I never owned any airline stocks but was thinking of very small position of 5,000 shares as a trade-very tiny part of my portfolio. There seem to be a lot of positives coming together right now with this company??
Q: Peter, what are your thoughts on ShawCor? Its the largest position in my portfolio, I see it as a stable and good company with lots of growth prospects down the road. What do you think the future holds for the stock? Thanks
Q: Hi Peter,
My son is planning to go to University next year and I did some bad investing decisions for his RESP portfolio including investments in WIN, AM etc which dropped in value a lot. The portfolio currently has the following:
KBL (40%) down 7%
LOY(18%) down 19%
HWO(24%) down 5%
INA(18%) flat
Would you suggest a replacement to these investments (the total current value is around $15.5k) so I can at least gain back the 30% I have lost, over the next one to two year time frame. Thanks a lot

Q: I have been heavily overweight in MG and ACQ this year with impressive gains. As various reports still suggest today's prices to be entry points, should I continue to run for a bit or should I lighten up now.If the latter what stocks do you recommend. I already have large holdings in RY,TD and BNS and more than half of your model portfolio.

Q: Argent Energy seemed to take a good hit today-comments ?
Q: BAD at $70.today has reached a sell position in my portfolio. I still feel it is a great company and that selling only half a position at this price may be the best strategy. Thanks for your comments.
Q: What is your feeling on Wajax? Is the current dividend in danger?
Q: At current prices, what are your thoughts regarding Enbridge and TransCanada Pipe Lines? Dividend seems fine, but will the evaluations slip?
Q: HNL Horizon North has been rising lately. Is this strictly a heavy oil play or does it have some traction in LNG build out scenario in BC? What do you think of the company for the moment?

Q: Hi Peter
ZEN released more news today along with last weeks NR. Thoughts?

Q: CMI keeps hitting new highs....$2.30 this morning....have asked about it before but do you have anything new to pass on?
Q: I hope this is not as dumb as it may appear....There are many very good companies and ETF's that are illiquid, some trade by appointment only. Is the biggest factor in this the fact that the shareholders are unwiiling to part with stocks due to their perceived quality of the company/ETF?
Q: Not sure if this is within your purview but I am looking to diversify into Intn'l and Emerging markets. I need an ETF or two with a dividend yield of 3% plus. Currently have UXM for my US exposure and am thinking of VEE for Emerging but not sure about one for Intn'l. Another option would be CYH to cover all 3 areas. Any ideas
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
I recently purchased some shares in Twin Butte Energy (TBE) at $2.10/share. It was halted this afternoon and then announced that they are purchasing a small private company and issuing subscription receipts at $1.95. I assume the shares will fall to that level or lower in the coming days - is this the likely result with a subscription receipt offering? Would you suggest i average down or take the loss? I noticed it goes ex div at month end and was thinking that the 9% dividend would be nice!
Many thanks for your input.

Q: Hope your European Vacation was a sucess.
Do you know why all the shorts are piling on Bell Alliant BA.T, would this be a reason to not buy the stock, as it is nearing it,s 52 week low, the dividend and an easy capitol gain when the shorts come off, make it look enticing. Many thanks as usual.

Q: Hi Peter and Team, regarding Renegade, RPL, your thoughts on their news release today would be greatly appreciated. You like Mr. Budd a lot and it looks as though he will be the new chairman. It seems as though they're building a new stronger Board. and hopefully a new and stonger management team. Thanks!
This is not an urgent matter so respond whenever you have time.
I'm sure you all worked very hard while in Europe...but hopefully didn't forget to play hard as well! :)

Q: Hope you folks are having a good time.
Great service BTW. The hand holding is worth the price of admission. :-)
A couple stocks that are hurting me are EXN and GFS. Both have high insider buying I know you are not high on GFS but there are no comments on EXN which kind of surprises me. . What do you think of the stock?
Thanks
Al
