Q: Good Morning Peter and Team,
My question has to do with the spin-off of BPY.UN from Brookfield Asset Management (BAM.A- TSX). I own a fair bit of BAM.A and will be receiving some BPY.UN shares shortly as a stock dividend. In your opinion should I look to add additional BPY.UN shares to my portfolio ??? In other words are these shares worth holding on to and, adding to, over time ??? BEP.UN and BIP.UN have certainly done very well since their respective launches.
Thank you. DL

Q: Hi a question was asked about 5i membership being tax deductible? If so, is there any update and how is this claim done? I never knew these were possible and I have subscribed to other investing sites / magazines like Investors' Digest before (I guess this is not deductible b/c its a magazine?). Thanks.

Q: 5i Team
I have $25,00 to invest and was planning to buy various recommended stocks over a one to two month time period . I was wondering if now was the right time to start buying or is there a near term market correction anticipated ? Appreciate your thoughts .
Thanks
Bill

Q: Hi 5i team. With the price of gold declining for the last six months, what events would trigger a rebound in gold and when do you foresee such turnaround? What would be signs of investors capitulating on beaten down gold shares ? I understand that it is best to wait for the sector to stabilize before buying company specific stocks such as St Andrews Goldfields which I own but am under water ....for now!!! Thank you

Q: Hello Peter and all at 5I: Your service is very important to me, thank you. I hold Agrium and held it to its peak and now still holding as it falls back. How would you have played this stock as you often say don't sell your good stocks? Would you buy more at todays price. Thank you Barbara

Q: Peter,

Any views on VOD rumours. Is this something to hold for a few months for if the rumour turns out to be true there is at least $10 in profits per share to be made here. The only problem is this would be a huge deal. Would the parties have that much money?
