I want your opinion on ASR and SGY. I own both and both have fallen more than 25% since I purchased them. Both seem good from earnings standpoint with forward PE's of less than 10. ASR is also about to pay 25C in special dividend. What would you do in this situation. Sell and take the loss or hold for positive return on investment down the road. Thanks

Q: I am concerned about the steady decline of HR.UN. I understand the long term play scenario, but would it be wiser to sell and put money in a growing stock for now.
Q: Money on the sidelines - I've read the phrase many times over the years and not questioned it until now. I think your answer is right as far as it goes, but I think there are other sources of money other than the zero sum result of a stock sale. These would be, I believe, new money - both domestic and foreign, money from fixed income sales as well as commodity sales.

Average price 70 cents. Now its 40 cents.
They market prepaid cards to young and are money management solutions company that provides a text message when purchase is made to alert kids and parent.
Interesting technology, they signed Justin Bieber who will be doing marketing campaigns soon. And recently the company has hired top executives from former big companies like Wells Fargo and Amex. They want to do a reverse split to make the share price more attractive and will change the name of the company.
From what you see is there a Future in bmpi?

Q: JE? I sold @ $9.90 due to concerns about debt and Payout ration. They have reduced dividend and now are buying back unsecure3d debentures in next wk or so -both will reduce stress on cash flow -buying a lot of shares back over next yr as well. Is now a good time to buy back in?

I believe you said STN's PE was around 14 or so - when I checked TD and Globe & Mail they show 77 - what do u base your PE value on? Globe shows Forward P/E of 13.79.

Q: Hi Peter any thoughts on Obama passing the northern leg of the Keystone Pipeline and the impact on TRP either way? I have significant gains on my TRP and thinking of booking profits in case Obama plays politics and doesn't pass or delays the pipeline once again.
