Q: Hello, with the gold markets taking a plunge lately, could you comment on a sector that is doing the reverse and is on an upward trend? If possible, a few recommendations of companies within this sector would be appreciated. Thanks

Q: I would like your update on Esperanza EPZ, and how things change since the Agreement with Pan American Silver on Feb 25. I thought the agreement was positive for the company but the market doesn't seem to have changed much.
Thanks

Q: Peter,
Is ORT dead or is there some hope of revival. Is it buyable here?

Q: With the big drop in prices for the large Cdn energy stocks (SU, CPG, CVE, etc.), is this a good entry point, is it time to bail out of the sector, or just stay the course. I have about a 12% weighting in the sector.
Q: I think the added category of "Investor Resources and Strategies" was a great suggestion. It's clear from some of the answers to member questions that you are expecting the current downward momentum in, for example, junior mining and gold/silver stocks to continue for a bit. Could you provide some guidance - technical and/or other - on what you look for to determine when sector momentum shifts either up or down? Would these signals change with different sectors ? Thank you.
Q: Hi peter,a comment and a question---it seems whenever someone is on bnn and talks about a stock you have a report on or that is in your model portfolio then they ask a question for confirmation, syz being the latest example.
My question is, i own lots of tourmaline -- no dividend, long before you put it in your model portfolio, but rpl, pbn, mmt, and now sgl are all yielding between 11 and 15 per cent, would you recommend any of these or is the risk just too great.thanks dave

Q: Good Morning Peter and Team,
I have been very slowly averaging into the gold mining sector over the last year using ETF's- IShares XGD and BMO's ZJG along with equities- Central Fund of Canada (CEF.A- TSX) and Silver Bullion Trust (SBT.UN- TSX). So far it has been like catching a falling knife and I look pretty stupid but I truly believe that we are still in a long term secular bull market in precious metals. Do you think we are approaching the "PUKE POINT" for this wave or cycle ??? Also I would appreciate your opinion of my stategy.
Thank you very much. DL

Q: This is not a question just a comment for the person asking about (syz) this morning. Jason Donville on market call last night was very negative on the company and said it was extremely over valued and said if you could get 4.50 for the stock to sell it. The high was 4.50 this morning which may account for the weakness. thank you
Q: Do you have any idea what is going on with sylogist, [SYZ], over 7% drop at market opening, and above average volume this week, thanks.
Q: hello 5i:
in light of the high rating given to PLB in the recent report, would it not be a more logical candidate to hold in a portfolio than VRX? Realizing there are differences in the market served, but both are in the same general market sector.
thanks
Paul

Q: Hi Peter and team,
I would like your thoughts about Coeur d'Alene's purchase of Orko. There are three options on the table for shareholders to consider: A)70cents cash , 0.0815 of a common share of Coeur and 0.01118 of a warrant to purchase Coueur shares at $30 doallars for each Orko share B)To receive 0.1118 of a common share of Coeur and 0.01118 of a warrant to purchase a Coeur share for each share tendered (subject to proration) or C)Cash and Warrants (subject to Proration) to recieive 2.60 in cash and 0.01118 of a warrant to purchase a Coeur share for each share tendered.
I would be making a tiny profit on option C and Orko was my only exposure to the Silver mining sector at this moment.
Which option would you recommend and why? I guess your opinion about Silver prices going forward, and Silver miners (Couer)in general, would be needed to help understand your perspective.
Thanks in advance,
Arturo

Q: adn.to has been faltering of late. Do you know why? Is this a good buying opportunity to get into the lumber space? Thanks,
Q: Peter,
You suggested earlier that NPK is a rpime takeover target. Do you still think so. Why does this stock keep going down with no news whatsoever?

Q: Hi Peter, Your thoughts on today's blood bath and jobs report please. How bad is the report in your opinion. Thanks
Q: On your "View by Category" section, adding Investor Resources as a category would be a help.
You have made many suggestions as to where we can get more detailed information or technical tools, such as changes in short interest, and your subscribers have also sent in sites. If you started that category it would build up over time and be quite useful.
John
