Q: I notice in Glentels annual report they refer to $1.8million in bank guarantees to landlords for AMT's lease obligations. Does this reflect the quality of the tenant or is it standard business practice in Australia?

Q: Regarding Amaya Gaming Group Inc. [AYA], when I read the news release I noticed the increase in the EBITDA. I also noticed that while revenues increase YOY by 316%, the net 'LOSS' increased 269% YOY. Also, looking at Sedar under Expenses/Financial, Expenses/Selling, and Expenses/Acquisition related Costs, there are a few items that gave me pause. Am I looking at this the wrong way?
Thanks,
Dale

Q: Good Morning Peter and Team,
I have just purchased shares of Shawcor (SCL-TSX). In a nutshell the investment thesis is:
1) We may be entering a pipeline construction / repair supercycle.
2) With Shawcor's dual class share structure gone, it may get taken out.
3) Backlog, financials, and free cash flow all look good.
Could you please give me your opinion of the company. Thanks, DL

Q: Re: EXE (Extendicare)
Hi,
I was puzzled by the wild ride this stock had in yesterday's trade. Was up almost 10% in the morning and of course way down (28%) by end of day.
Yes, I understand the reason it went down so much later, due to the big dividend cut. However, I'm totally confused about the way some news obviously must have passed around the large number of investors who "knew something was up" earlier on.
Just how and where is this kind of info available, since no news or public announcements were published about the company before this happened.
I am really turned off about this whole thing, how some investors are privvy of confidential info and many others are not. Was there inside info provided and why does it happen so often ? (See most recent price swings for CAE up 10% in one week).
Thank you for your comments.
Paul
