Q: Blackberry closed above major resistance on decent volume.
I am holding a 2% postion, but am down over 40%. Does the OTPP news change the outlook much? Would averaging down make sense here?

Q: Hello Peter,
Can you please comment on why AVO is going down despite good results? Is it because it went up alot after the good results and now investors are taking some profits (if they bought in at 15 or so). Also, i cannot seem to find any press releases to suggest why PHM is going up every day. Thanks very much.umed

Q: EQI is presently plumming for the pits of despair. I can't see it coming back in the remainder of the year. It never was a large position (for me) and I do wish to remain positive and look forward to 2015. Could you give me your outlook on what the future might look like for this stock. I suppose this would have to include the outlook for the industry along with anything else you might think of.

Q: Following up on your recent answer re H&R distributions. You note that 58% of the return is "return of capital". I have always considered "return of capital" as giving me my own money back in the sense that it changes my adjusted cost base by the same amount so that I end up paying tax on it when I sell the shares. ie it is giving me my own money back because the company did not earn enough to fully cover the dividend and is therefore not a real earning.
Can you enlighten me on this? ie is "return of capital" really a benefit in the long run?
