Q: Hi Team, I asked a question yesterday on LRE (Long Run Exploration) and my takeaway from your answer was that many companies that moved into a slow growth dividend model were not doing well. I agree with that assessment with regard to SGY, TOG etc.I would like to have your recommendation's in this space? Thank you.

Q: Hello Peter & team:
What is your take on CSD - Guggenheim Spin-Off ETF to get US exposure via an ETF? It's MER is up there but year to date return this past year is over 50%.
Thanks in advance, Greg.

Q: I have a junior gold stock that has been disastrous, NGM. Do I hold or should I sell?
Q: WHAT DO U THINK OF AGI AND RRX FOR SHORT TERM
Q: I just purchased the new Canadian Tire REIT - CRT.UN - which declared its monthly distribution for December at an annualized payout rate of 8.26% Wow! I realize the sector won't provide much capital appreciation but this particular REIT seems extremely stable given its long-term leases from Canadian Tire owners. As an income investor, can I rely on this payout as sustainable over the long haul?
Q: To Ivan's question on brokerages (19-Nov). I personally have been using BMO Investorline, with no issues and great investor information at $9.95 a trade with $50K minimum account. They allow you to group accounts to get to the $50K which was nice when I was short with my TFSA. - Cheers.
Q: Any particular reason why Enbridge is down over the past 3 days? Thanks.
Q: With regard to the person who asked about TD Waterhouse; I have BMO Invest and could not be happier. $9.95 per trade, a wealth of information available on stocks, recommendations, etc. Now I wonder how I ever got along without it. - Edward

Q: I am interested in purchasing a dividend etf, what would you recommend
Q: Over the last few years, we have started trust accounts for our two granddaughters. Each has a bank( RY,BNS), reit (KMP, AX.UN), pipeline (PPL, IPL), insurance (SLF, MFC) and oil ( VET, ARX),all equal weight, all dividend paying and on DRIPS. We would like to add another dividend paying, Dripable security to each account, preferably from an undervalued, different sector. Looking at an 8-10 year time frame. Could you offer a few suggestions?
Thanks so much.

Q: On Ivan's question on brokerages, the Nov.19 Report on Business in the Globe and Mail has its 15th Annual Online Brokerage Survey featuring ranks from A thru D. Personally I use 3 of them, an A, a B and a C, and I find each has its own strengths and weaknesses as it relates to my needs. J.
Q: Peter I have a relatively large portfolio and safety net and am still working but don't have to be.
I was wondering if it might make sense to take a portion of cash (perhaps 10% of my assets) which I don't need and won't need in my lifetime and invest it in an aggressive segregated fund. I understand the downside is the cost of about 3% and locking in for 10 years but the upside is the ability reset in accordance with my gains and protect my principle. Would you consider such a move?

Q: Hello: I would appreciate your views on the Q3 results from CSE released November 12th. Still no Cardinal agreement. Do you think management is starting to execute better?
Q: I'm looking at TKM and wondering if you think there may be a chance they get taken out by ALNY given the court ruling in favour of TKM. With a fairly sizeable cash hoard it would seem like a good move for ALNY.
