Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Cautious comments. Notice your mentioning all the cautious comments you have made over the past 2 weeks. Were these stock specific or market generally? If on the market itself could you summarize for us?

TIA

2) Gamblers anonymous with the 5i blessing

Q: Hello,
Can I please have your thoughts on Velan (VLN). If a buy or hold, what kind of return should an investor expect given the risk involved. Time horizon of 5 years +. Thank you for the great service.

Q: I'm interested in hearing your opinion on selling covered calls as an "extra money" strategy... I'm looking at the financial sector, but maybe stocks like BCE, MDA, JNJ, AVO, ATD.B, HCL, BEP.UN, GIB.A, MG, STN, TRP
I realize that stocks can be taken away, thereby creating the need to repurchase good companies at higher prices, but if they aren't taken away, it's "free money" for the option proceeds.
Comments???

Q: My Canadian Energy Services Technology Group (CEU) shares have increased by 8.5X since their purchase in 2007 excluding dividends. The company now constitutes 11.6% of my cash portfolio. In the recent Webinar you were suggesting not selling good companies just because of value increases but I notice at the same time that the 5I model portfolio has rebalanced. Following the rebalancing theme, my thinking is to reduce my shares of CEU and increase my shares in POT (currently 4% of my portfolio) and Goldcorp (currently 2.2% of my portfolio). All three companies have decent dividends. Does this make sense to you or should I continue to let CEU run. Thank you

Q: re. Sphere 3D Corp. (ANY-V)

I hold a small, entry level position in this security. What do think of their software tech ... is it a major step forward or simply a modest/incremental change to what currently exists? Who is their competition?

Thanks for your insights.

Q: re. small cap info tech stocks

I'm in the process of adding another tech stock to my small cap portfolio ... considering QHR Corp (QHR-V), BSM Wireless (GPS-V) and C-Comm Satellite (CMI-V). Which stock would you prefer and why?

Thanks for your efforts on my behalf and other retail investors. Your insights are invaluable.
