Q: Can I get your opinion on jfs.un I have recently taken huge gain off the table and I'm sitting with quite a bit of cash here. Everyone on tv keeps saying that there is still a way to go with this stock market but I also remembering hearing this in 2007 and 1999 and we both know what followed those years. Now I'm not saying that the stock market is about to crash, but JF's track record in a downturn is pretty good. Just looking for some feedback, thanks.
Q: How does LOY's earnings announcement today impact your view on it as an investment, taking account that its share price has moved up today already? Also, might the announcement last week that the CEO is not accepting additional options granted to him by LOY have been the result of feedback from large investors that the number of options that were being granted to him was excessive, especially considering the general weakness in the share price to that point?
Q: Hi, I'm considering selling G from my model portfolio for the tax loss. Could you suggest where this money could be parked for the next month or so? Perhaps an alternate gold stock?

Q: Where could you value dap.u to peers and the industry. Trading @ 30x earnings. But. Considering its rev growth over last 3 year..
Is 1.59 to expensive or with its sales expansion possibilities does this signal an even higher probable price considering your view on the competitive advantage of their product.

Q: Hi 5i First let me say thx for DH I'm up 47% from my original purchase, but I'm still at 4% of my portfolio so I will be adding to bring it up to 5%. Question: In your update on DH you mentioned the potential risks might be foreign exchange and supply costs, could you expand a bit on these as just how they pose a risk.
Thx Gerry

Q: Hi Peter,
Will the announcement today from MCAN Mortgage (MKP) be overall neutral (or better) from a revenue point of view, and if so does the drop in price provide a chance to add to current holdings at a good price. Present holdings are 3.4% of overall portfolio, held in a RIF and TFSA.

Q: I am interested in the question from Gary and your answer re: ENB and ENF. According to the Globe website, ENB has a beta of -0.037 and ENF 0.513. This would suggest ENB has far less volatility than ENB. But first, what does the negative number on ENB mean and, are we comparing apples to apples?
Q: As a new member I would like to know more about the rating system.(B+,B,C+). Are differences significant and predictive of future corporate growth/stock price?

Q: Michael Bowman on BNN today suggested selling Suncore and buying Eog Resources. His rational is that the Americans will be self sufficient in oil by 2015. He also said that the Americans will not want or need our "TAR Sands. Any comments?

Q: Hi, I'm just wondering about Santonia Energy STE. It used to have a good balance sheet in a tough industry. Is it worth looking at during this tax-loss season? How would you rate this junior gas company?
