Q: I have a question about Brookfield Renewable Energy LP.
I have owned BEP.UN long enough to have done fairly well with it. However, Vectorvest shows BEP.UN's earnings as fairly flat and low, give it a lower safety rating, and a '0' dividend rating.
Any thoughts as to why they are bearish and you are still bullish on the firm?
Thanks

Q: Good morning Peter and Team,

Would you be OK with selling one position of Corus (CJR.B) and replacing it with DHX Media Ltd. (DHX)? DHX appears to be much faster growing.

Q: I am looking at building a portfolio of telecommunication/media stocks for dividend income and some growth. Which one is better at this time: BCE, RCI.B, T, SJR.B, BA, MBT? How do you rank them in terms of attractiveness at this time? Or should I look at an ETF (is there one) or US stocks? Thank you.

Q: On "Headline" Dec.10, Howard Wetston of the OSC stated, in the context of regulating markets and HFT, that "Technology is moving so fast...it seems like magic."

Which technology companies do you think are moving the fastest? Could Google be one of them? Thanks, J.

Q: Given the fact that "defensive" stocks seem to be out of favour at the moment and that "growth" stocks are the flavour of the month would it be possible for you to look at each sector and list your top five stocks or more in each of the sectors.
I realize that your primary focus is on the Canadian markets but you if could include some US stocks that would be a bonus.
Thank you so much for this wonderful service.

Q: Hi,

The gold sector is a volatile one but may be in for a bounce here. I prefer Goldcorp as you do for a major. For small/mid producers I like RIO, NGD, YRI, BTO, and MND for low cash costs, management, production history and other financial aspects. If you were to buy 2 or 3 what would be your preference and why?

Thanks!
