Q: Good morning,
I have a few questions on bond etf's:
Could you please offer your feedback on bond etf's and specifcially XSB, both as a long term holding in the current environment as well as a place to park cash that may be needed over the next 6 to 12 months.

Also, any feedback on XCB and XGB would also be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Brad

Q: Hello,

I have a question regarding Loyalist, (LOY). Yesterday they granted
options under its stock option plan to purchase an aggregate of 3.8M common shares at an exercise price of $0.50.

I'm not familiar with options so I"m not sure what this means. Does this act as signal to buy or sell.

Thank you so much.

Q: CXS is down 5.75% today. Any reason? The only "news" I see is a neutral report by Thomson Reuters. Stockhase.com recently shows only positive comments by analysts.

Q: Hi

Today, the investment and company questions section is not working properly. On the most recent setting, I have one or two for Oct 25 and then it quickly shows scrambled dates. Is this just me, or is it a system problem.

Thanks for you help. I use your site daily and really appreciate the timely and quality information you provide

Q: Hi Peter, as a Canadian in vestor, what are the tax implications of buying US stocks for TFSA or RRSP accounts?

Q: I am considering placing about 4% of my RRSP into Spyglass Resources. The dividend of over 13% seems exciting, is it sustainable and what do you think of SGL chances for growth over the next six months to a year?

Thanks again!

Q: Your thoughts on CTA (Crocotta Energy) please. It was featured as a Top Pick on BNN this week and I was wondering if it was a good energy play in an RRSP account.

Thanks

Q: Looking at the preferred for Co-operators Insurance CCS.PR.D I see that it is paying a juicy divident of about 7% with a reset next year at GOC 5 +5.21%. Not bad. Using your trick of looking at common dividends and seeing how many times the commons cover the preferred I found to my dismay that CCS is not listed so no telling what kind of ability there is to maintain the dividend. Rating is Pfd 3 high though. Should I consider this preferred with so little to go on?
