Q: Re: Questrade and Don's request, I signed on with them four years ago when they were perennially the Globe's # 1 rated online broker. No regrets. Their transaction pricing is slightly higher than what I pay with the junior 1/3 of my portfolio at CIBC but Questrade's portfolio analysis and research is first rate and worth a few extra bucks per year. Not a single website crash and on the infrequent occasion when I have needed them customer service was top notch.

Q: Interested in your thoughts on ANY Sphere 3d. Seems to be putting all the right pieces in place to have some serious potential. Market seems to really like this company. Your thoughts on management too please. Any plans to cover this company in the near term understanding it does have more risk than most companies covered. I know there are quite a few members looking for a little torque for a small position. Thanks
Q: Hello,
The exposure to the tech sector is 17% of my portfolio; the securities are AVO, CSU, DSG, ESL, GIB.A, MDA and SUM. Is there any another one that you would recommend to replace one of the above?
Thanks
Tony

Q: for an aggressive portfolio of about $18,000.00 do you think four equal investments of enghouse (esl), dhx media,(dhx), surge energy,(sgy), and sylogist,(syl), would be too risky for a five year time horizon, the money was a surprise inheritance, thanks
Q: Hi can I get an update on (PRI) primary energy recycling. Currently in re negotiations with a company that is responsible for 64% of revenue. But company has a high free cash flow yield of 28%? I'm curious of what you think. Thx.
Q: Hi Peter and Team, as a follow up to P/BRD question, I was hoping for some thoughts on the following as well but did not phrase my question accordingly. Any possibility that Goldcorp, G, would put Primero into play for the balance of the company they don't already own?
From the proposed transaction;
The proposed transaction will be completed pursuant to a court-approved plan of arrangement and will require approval by at least 66% of the votes cast by the shareholders of Brigus at a special meeting. The issuance of Primero common shares in connection with the proposed transaction will require the approval of a majority of the shareholders of Primero voting at a special meeting. Goldcorp Inc., which holds approximately 27% of the outstanding Primero common shares, has agreed to vote in favour of the proposed transaction. The directors and senior officers of each of Primero and Brigus have also entered into support agreements pursuant to which they have agreed to vote in favour of the proposed transaction. It is anticipated that the shareholder meetings will be held in February 2014. Full details of the proposed transaction will be included in management information circulars to be mailed to the shareholders of Primero and Brigus as soon as practicable.
Any thoughts on SpinCo and its assets?
Thanks!

Q: Hello all. Acadian Timber (ADN) released its 4th quarter results yesterday. What do you think of them ? Thanks.
Q: Can you comment on Redknee's earnings, how the stock might react, and the prospects for the company going forward. Should I hang in for another quarter or two?
Q: What is your opinion on Couche Tard. How much growth do you see or is fairly valued here?
Q: My question is regarding Andrew Peller, ADW.A - They just reported their earnings and a few takeaways are a decline in gross margins, ebita down from 2013 as well as EPS. What is your take on the quarter? I do not own shares yet as its on my watchlist. Lastly, can you elaborate on the definition of shareholder equity. It is noted at $9.89 per share, would this be the equivalent to book value? Thanks!
Q: Hi
Is $66 a good entry point for Stantec (STN) as a long term hold? You had suggested to add it to my portfolio; I was waiting for the price to settle a little from its high in December.
Thanks

Q: In response to Don re: Questrade, I have been using them for a couple of years and am happy with them. I use them only as a trading platform and therefore cannot comment on their research or other "bells and whistles". They are cheap and everything can is done on-line. Hope this helps.
