Q: Hi Peter & Team,
I am wondering if recent decline in Enterprise (E.TO) share price is connected to the Dec issuance of common shares at $0.72 (?). Is it a good buy at this level? This Co (along with MCR.V) has very low PEG ratio. Why does the market price it this way, in your opinion? Or this is common for this type of business activity?
Thank you and Happy New Year

Q: My wife and I contributed our maximum to our TSFAs.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We are underweight financials and REITS.

Q: I really appreciate your spreadsheets would it be possible to add a column for payout ratios as many of your stocks are divided payers. This would be a great service as this often difficult to find quickly. Thank you again for your great service.

Q: Hi, all.
I look after the finances for my father, who is 76. He lives simply in a mortgage-free home and his monthly pension more than covers his expenses. He has some cash ($40K) and a GIC ($5K)and I have maxed out his TFSA, which contains CDZ, XEG, SPB, and BNS. That's it for his investments. I would like to add to his TFSA and, based on some of your answers, was thinking Sunlife and/or Boyd.
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thank you

Q: AAA Alana Potash. After being a market darling for a while, AAA has sat in the ditch for the last couple of years. Recently it has come to life and moved up quite nicely. Time to buy or has the big upward move happened already.

NHC Northstar Healthcare: Again looked to be a dead issue, but had quite a year in 2013. Could there be another good year ahead?

Thanks,

Q: Good morning
I am 65 years old retired and was wondering whether or not I should dump the following US$ denominated stocks that although provide a good dividend are now heavily underwater. Specifically, NLY (down 37.7%), CYS (down 42% down) and CIG (30% down. The remaining 85% of my RRSP portfolio is well diversified and doing well. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Q: Thanks a lot to all of you at 5iResearch. I have been a member for the last 9 months, which have probably been the most profitable investing period I have ever known, in great part due to your advice and information form the Question section. Express Script (ESRX) is one of the few US stocks I own directly. Although this is not your area of expertise, I would like to know if selling ESRX and reinvesting in IWO might be a good move (I have primarily a well diversified Canadian equity portfolio), without consideration to risk or balancing and with a long time line?

Q: Could I have an update on Torex TXG I see you liked them last March. They seem to be expanding the resource and moving forward very nicely, while the stock price has dropped to close to book value. I realize the sector risk but i'm always early to buy, this has to be a winner in a couple years as long as it doesn't go to zero. Am I missing something?
Thanks

Q: I believe you mentioned Norrep Funds a few months ago, but
I can't find it in the archive. Would you please restate your
opinion of this family of funds? They seem to be very small,
and am concerned they can achieve the economies of scale to survive over the long term.

Q: Hi What would happen if the us dollar droped substantially and created hyperinflation? What would the effect be to the canadian dollar and market? Would gold and silver go up and would it be better to hold the equities or the physical commodities?

Q: Hi Peter,
I own a significant position in Potash which has had a nice rally lately. First any reason that you are aware of for this rally? Secondly I'm considering trimming back some POT and adding to my position in Avigilon (AVO). I think I know the answer but comparing the growth rates of both these companies I would conclude that AVO share price should greatly outperform POT over the next 3 years?? Thank-you.
