Q: Hello 5i,
My question is about SVC, Sandvine Corp's. latest news today. On Jan. 22, Kevin asked what you thought of the recent 33M financing. You stated you were “very surprised” and hoped it was because they were planning an acquisition. Can you comment on today’s news, and does it relate to the new financing? Thank you in advance.

Q: I have been looking at Lloyds Bank for a while. Do you see them emerging from the eventual sale of their shares by the British Government and rising over the next 2-3 years?
Thanks.

Q: Hello, Have recently added FSZ to my portfolio. Even with staggered purchases, I am still underwater and it is still struggling. Do you see much further downward pressure? Opportunity to add more? Thanks, Lavern

Q: Hello,
In my Financials sector of my RRIF portfolio, I'm holding TD, BNS, ZUB and CFN; I'm thinking of switching from CFN (up 50% in 2 years) to either HCG or CXS.
Thanks for your comment

Q: Hi Peter!

I'm looking to create a TFSA portfolio with an emphasis on growth. Given the smaller account size I'm looking to create a portfolio of 5 or 6 names. Can you provide some suggestions.

Q: Good Morning! Given the recent issues EIF is facing, would you consider the new EIF convertible debenture with a 6% coupon a safe investement if held to maturity and if so would such investment be best in a TFSA, RRSP or outside. Do you see the debenture possibly sinking bellow par in the near future and would it be better to wait and possibly buy it later at a more favorable valuation.

Thanks for your advice.

Q: What would you recommend as the top 3 dividend paying stocks to "load up" on if we continue to see a fall in the market of another 7 to 10% before settling? Also top three growth?

Thanks

Q: NRG
Hi Peter, knowing your past involvement with this name it looks as if this name has upside momentum this past year and last Friday ,Robert McWhirter President of Selective Asset Management picked it as his top pick on BNN. Looking through their website, the projects in the pipeline leads me to think that the stock can double from here. Any thoughts?

Q: Peter,

You have commented in the past that you like companies to show some momentum in terms of sales and earnings. When we have skittish (down?) markets like we have now, with talk of declining sales and profits, how do you determine if that momentum still exists - wait for a few weeks of upticks?
Appreciate your insight.
