Q: Hi Team,
More of a general question. I am enrolled in the GSY dividend DRIP program. When in a DRIP, is the share price in regards to the dividend calculation determined on the ex dividend date? Or on the date the dividend is actually paid? Thanks again;
I'm looking to get into Europe through multi nationals in the UK. Currently own Rio-tinto and Unilever. If you could name five other dividend paying companies trading on a US exchange worth buying it would be very helpful.
Thank you!

Q: Hi Peter & team: Long time member- Great service - Thank You!
With regards to Hans' question about Brian Acker's views on Market call- I took it as more of an issue about when cash dividends in $ paid out per share are greater than EPS. Brian used BCE and ENB as examples of an early sign of trouble and one should avoid such situations. You have handled this in the past (very well) Can you provide us a refresher on the opposing view ? If I remember correctly the net is basically "dividends out greater than EPS is OK, but not forever " Thanks in advance.
Q: Thank you for your answer on stocks and ETF'S for my son's FHSA account that is starting. The answer included mostly US domiciled names/ETF's and we are looking at Canadian names. Could you recommend a combination of Canadian blue chips and ETF's for a 7 year time frame to monthly contribute and compound before needing funds for a home buyer withdrawal
Thank you
