Q: I have 1000 shares of WB and it has gone down steadily for the couple of weeks. I'm concerned that with the bad ski season and the coming spring, WB will be a real loser. What would you think of selling WB and buying 1000 shares of NPI? Thanks- Ted

Q: Hello Peter and staff, My Question is on two stocks I have held for a long time, five plus years. RMX Rubicon with its latest financing is a 20% loss for me. Should I continue to hold? SOY sunopta is at a slim profit for me now. It seems to have trouble holding much above $10. Should I continue to hang on? Weighting for both are not large, but enough to be a decent size new position. I have done very well following your advice, most recently ATHN has been a great ride. Thanks as always, Frank

Q: It's almost two months since you gave an opinion on Twin Butte Energy TBE. What is your current take? It has a good dividend yielding 8.38%, which seems to be steady, and although I am down 18% on the share price, I am happy with the income. (Unless of course, you can recommend something else with an equally good dividend and a better chance of growth to recoup my losses!)

Q: My question is on TPH Temple Hotel Inc, what do you think of their recent announced purchase and it as an income investment. I have approx.4% in my rrsp account tied up in it and in the divvy reinvestment program. What do you think of the 9.5% dividend, is it sustainable? I have gathered quite a few shares but with the drop in stock price I find it is actually in the red for how long I have held it, 6 months. Thanks for your assistance! Ed

Q: Hi 51 I have a nice profit in Gran Tierra GTE, but it's not doing much and doesn't pay a dividend but some analysts are expecting good growth, I'm considering selling GTE and buying Baytex ( BTE ) or Surge ( SGE) or maybe equal shares in each , using the proceeds from GTE. What are your thoughts on a purchase either or, or both.Thx Gerry

Q: Hi 5i team. I'm 68 years old and would like to gain some exposure to international markets by buying a number of ETFs. Which are your current favorites for;
1. American exposure
2. Global exposure outside of the United States
Descent dividends that are sustainable and rising would be appreciated.
Thanks for your continued support.

Q: Hi Peter,
I have approximately $14000 to reinvest in a non-registered account. I'm looking for "safer" capital gains, dividend optional, to be held for 1-3 years. What are your top recommendations?
Also, since it's almost the end of RRSP season, do you suggest I wait a month or so before I make the purchase? (I realize you don't advocate trying to time the market but....)
