Q: Hi Peter and team,
Please advise your thoughts on Canadian Solar Inc (CSIQ) there was positive talk about this when I bought in and it is presently
down 23%. Its a very small part of the portfolio but should one hold out or just sell and move on? Any suggestion as a replacement.

Q: re: CVL Cervus Equip

Trading Volume remains considerably off (65%) daily averages and value is down 10% in past 60 days with the majority of that drop taking place mid March. It has now been holding where it is for the last 6 weeks.

Any update since we last looked at it beginning of April? Would you consider this a buy or hold?

Thanks for all you do

Gord

Q: Hi Peter and team, I own Atrium Mortgage Investment (AI). They just announced a $30M public share offering at $11.40. I am wondering whether this is positive, negative or neutral. The chart looks good. What do think or the stock generally? Also, is it better than Timbercreek (MTG) in your view. Thank for your input. Always appreciated.

Q: re: PRW - Petrowest

Back on Jan 13 Dundee Securities raised their price objective for PRW from $1.20 to $1.50. And Bruce Campbell on Market Call was excited about their prospects considering their highway expansion projects and the infrastructure needs the Canadian Oil & Gas sector would have in the coming months.

Since then share prices saw a brief time between $1.02 & $1.08 before falling to between $0.92 & $0.97 (majority of time closer to $0.92) where we have seen it for the past 6 weeks.

The all of a sudden yesterday is closed at $1.00 and today it is at $1.02 with trading at 2.85 times average daily volume

PRW has one of the larger "Big Yellow" equipment fleets and I have been expecting them to enjoy plenty of new projects as a result of the healthy Oil & Gas Sector and specifically the LNG project in BC.

Can you give any advice re this equity and if in fact there are any reasons to expect PRW to begin heading to the levels The "Experts" expected when they reported at the beginning of the year?

Is this a buy low sell high opportunity?

Thanks for all you do

Gord

Q: why are you so hot on a stock like Concordia healthcare which has been become very expensive compared to a stock like merus labs which is way cheaper by half-- same business, I know merus is much smaller, but gains should be much greater. you seem lukewarm on merus at best.dave

Q: Good morn.
Since the energy sector is rebounding nicely, I would appreciate
your pic on 2 or 3 additional stocks that you feel have legs for the next 12-18 months. I currently hold IPL,PPL,KEY,PKI,
BXE,TOU & SGY in this sector however, I classify IPL,PPL,PKI & KEY as support so I really only hold 3 pure oil& gas plays. Would appreciate you expertise as ever.

Q: For those of us who are time challenged I very much like your bullet response to Paul's question on the Utility Sector, where 9 companies were covered (8 requested). Just wondering: in the new/future question limit would such a question count as 4, 8 or 1 question or perhaps a blending of 2 (best/worst)? Perhaps you could clarify the limits for questioners who ask for opinions on multiple stocks in one email, too. Thanks, J.

Q: HellO,
I read in the May Canadian MoneySaver (pg 30) about Fixed Invstment Certificates. A little research tells me they are basically 2nd or 3rd mortgages. The return of 12% is appealing. Your comments on safety of the investment? What would be a maximum portion of a portfolio to invest in FICs
I do like the new cover designs.
