Q: Good morning. I would appreciate your assessment of KEY Keyera's earnings which came out yesterday. Earnings were up but cash flow was down and debt also up considerably. Any concerns?

Q: Hi Team. Love the service. With Raging River RRX now over $10, do you still see further growth in this stck?

Q: Hi Peter and Team, regarding Avigilion, AVO, you just wrote 'so its experience with these sort of issues is limited' - come on, you really don't believe that d you! Any bafoon would know that letting your CFO go (which is how we all read it - fired) the day before releasing results is going to hit the stock price hard! They really should have halted the stock before announcing the CFO is gone considering the results come out today! Even if nothing is wrong, they should have halted the stock knowing the stock would get hit hard. This is not a limited experience issue in my opinion, it's either mis-management, manipulation for the stock to fall or a message of bad things to come, which should have been relayed much sooner then now! I have lost trust in how they have done this. Just my two cents worth. Thanks.
Q: With the continuing market correction and the sudden departure of the CFO is it time to take the loss on AVO (Avigilon)? Or is this over reaction? Thanks
Q: Hi guys,
For Avigilon (AVO), if the CFO was fired because of accounting "irregularities" that affected or misrepresented earnings, wouldn't the company want to halt the stock and provide the accurate information rather than say its for health reasons and then 24 hours later risk losing accountability and have the market potentially discover the real reason for the firing in the financial report?

Q: Peter et al,
I am up from 21% to 27% in the energy sector (BTE, CPG,SGY) with the recent increases of Baytex and Cres Point. I am considering selling some CPG to invest in another sector. I have no industrials, pharma or biotech. I have been looking at Badger and Black Diamond. Reading previous answers you seem to favour both. Which would you recommend for growth with a little income? Thanks in advance.

Q: Avigilon (AVO) CFO has suddenly left for "health reasons". Sounds rather worrisome in front of earnings today!
Q: As for the unfilled CSU odd lot order I always believed the market maker for each stock has an obligation to fill odd lots out of his inventory at a certain level below or above bid or ask. I'm not sure what this level is now, perhaps you do, but when stocks traded in fractions, it was an eighth. Sometimes market makers make mistakes so perhaps Bill has a legitimate beef. Would you agree? J.
Q: I notice stocks, two in particular (KLS and CXR), that continue to go up constantly. There are no correcting or pull backs. Is it good to buy some of these stocks that have upward momentum? Or shop around for ones that are correcting?
Thanks,
Dennis

Q: Hello Peter and company,
In the pharma/health care/biotech sector of my RRIF portfolio, I only hold Valeant and 2 ETF's XHC (global) & ZUH (US).
Would any of the following add value / diversification in the mix (Cipher, Concordia, Knight and Merus)?
Thanks
Tony

Q: Morning,
In response to Ben's question about REIT or corporate structure, I believe the main reason is one of income tax. The REIT structure passes the tax liability to the unit holder and therefore the pension plans would not pay tax on the higher income they receive. They don't pay tax on the income from a corporation either, but the corporate entity does.

John

Q: I am 10 years from RRIF time. Presently I have 500,000$ in my RRSP and am mostly exposed to Canadian Equities. The breakdown is 80% Canadian, the balance US. Breakdown is about 70/30 equity to Fixed income. I would like to go to a more balanced world portfolio keeping the same ratio, i.e. 70/30, but do it with ETF's and Index Funds, Suggestions?
Q: I have a follow up to my last question on Imris. I am almost ready to pull the trigger on this one. Your last answer to my question put you in the not buy camp, however I have a 3-5 year time frame and these prices just seem like a great time to get in. My hesitation is around their cash levels. I was looking at their annual report and cash is very low plus they borrowed 25M that has to start repayment in 2015. So I guess to summarize what would you peg the percentage chance of this company going to 0? i'm okay if it drops from here as i have a long time frame but if they can't survive well that's another story. is the downside risk that high? thank you for the great service you provide.
Q: What can you gleam from the latest quarterly results for Detour Gold? How levered is it to the price of gold?
Q: Further to the question by Nancy: If what she means is that the stock is being held in her C$ account (for potential future sale on a Canadian exchange) and then moved to her US$ account (for potential future sale on a US exchange), then it would be the same stock that is held by her, just moved from one of her accounts to another, so nothing is being sold at all at that time, right?
Q: BLX - Boralex
You last report Feb 20 ($13.04) "Boralex has so many projects on the go for 2014 and 2015 that the outlook and commentary are very positive right now." "It looks better to us now, even at the higher price."
As of today it is at $12.96 and has shown a very nice flat technical for the last 11 weeks.
There have also been many positive comments on BNN plus news keeps rolling in regarding forward looking projects.
Can you please update your opinion if possible and comment on what we might be looking at 6 months - 1 yr out?
Thanks for all you do
