Q: We depend on dividends for income. Which of the following would you prefer for a half position? AFN? CPX?
Q: This stock was beaten up badly during the last six weeks, as well DTX has more or less been a "flatline" case for about the whole year prior to the latest sell off.
Is DTX a good bottom fishing candidate, now that it has been beaten down enough, with perhaps some catalyst from the upcoming Q3 results and forward guidance?
Thanks.

Q: Just wondering if you guys had given any thought to doing an analysis report of Petrowest for members? It looks like a very compelling growth story on LNG and Infrastructure (SiteC). The company would seem to have a bright, long term growth profile. With the largest fleet of "yellow iron" in NEBC/ NWAL, it would seem to me that the story is just beginning. Thanks.
Q: I bought Vermillion at its peak, it has dropped off in the last while and I'm still underwater approximately 10%. I'm happy with the regular dividend but wondering would you sell and buy another energy stock (such as Tourmaline) that pays a dividend and will provide growth as well.
Thanks
Jim

Q: Could I have your thoughts on Amica. It has declined roughly 10% in the past year. Do you think it's reaching a point where it may rebound, or is there something negative in the companies fundamentals? Thanks.
Q: If I were to convert the fund in locked in RRSP to LIF, what investment type should I invest in. Note LIF will be withdraw yearly.
Q: Rp-v is a small stock [$.44] that helps with male pattern baldness & skin problems. It has 2 drugs in stage 2 testing & a third which will be tested in Japan. Your comments on this stock would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Q: I've held this one for quite a while, I have good gains from it, it keeps beating its quartley numbers. Do you think that it is expensive or does its growth justify its p/e.
Q: Looking to stabilize my portfolio as I think there is a lesson to be learned from the recent market volatility. Looking forward I want to mitigate my risk by making wiser choices and not falling into the trap of trying to hit home runs. To help in this process I would like your opinion as to the 5 safest Canadian stocks outside of utility and energy stocks. Thanks in advance. Doug
Q: Ok, I know you do not really like trades, but what do you think about picking up some shares of Air Transat now and holding them until May/June and taking advantage of the winter busy season. It has worked in the past, a few times really well, others not as well but always made money. This is pretty speculative, and would be for the mad money part of my investments.
Thanks for your opinion.
Thanks for your opinion.
Q: The markets have been quite strong the last few days, yet WSP is not participating. Today, for example, the stock was down while the market was up nicely. My concern is, if the stock is weak in a strong market, what happens when the market comes back down. For some reason, my impression is that this company is not well liked by investors. Any idea why and what might turn this around?
Q: Just wondering why SYZ and GUD are not participating in this recent rally?

It has a small dividend and shows no capital appreciation,
Thanks

Q: I purchased MFC at 14.75 and it's now at 20.40 an increase of 38%. I have now read your article on how interest rates would affect MFC vs. SLF. Is it wise to switch to Sunlife @ 40.00? My theory is that the cheaper stock will have more room to run and that rates will not rise significantly for at least a year.
Thanks for all your advice

Q: What do you think of the current valuation of Mitel, its offer to purchase Shore Tel and its growth prospects over the next 3-5 years. Is it a buy with that frame in mind?
Thank you,
