Q: I currently hold (4 yr now) CPG, BTE & VET-all seem to have low debt & high CF per share but it is hard to find the total "all in" cost for ea BOE? I am thinking of adding BNE at some point because it has almost an $8.00 per share cash flow PS and seems cheap based on all metrics-ergo, should be able to support super dividend it pays out: this seems the case for the other holdings as well? What do you think?

Q: Seems like an earning miss due to increased spending. Could you please give your short and long term view of the company? I own SUM.to, would you recommend switch to companies under your coverage, e.g., DSG.to, ESL.to, or SYZ.v, etc.?

Thank you very much!

Q: Hi 5i Team,

What are your thoughts on FIE (iShares Canadian Financial Monthly Income ETF)?

It looks good on paper - good diversification, good dividends, but on the other hand performance over 5 years pales in comparison to something like BNS.

Is it worth it for the instant diversification in the financial sector, or are you better with 2-4 stocks?

Thanks,

Mike.

Q: I picked up a small position in XSR earlier this year. I'm now down by over 25% due to recent "bad" news. In your opinion, is this a long term hold or should I cut my losses? Is there a stock in the sector with better potential? Thanks

Q: Hi Peter,
Superior Plus reported good quarter and increased dividend but share dropped below 12, do you know why.
For income, would you recommand to buy Superior Plus or ERF Enerplus?
Thanks

Q: Latest quarterly a huge surprise. You were absolutely correct in your last opinion stating that with this company you are never sure what will happen next notwithstanding the financials. I should have listened to you but given that the honourable Brian Mulroney is on the board of Quebecor I took a chance. (LOL) In your opinion (I will listen this time)where is this mess going?

Q: Markets have been in a nasty downturn for a couple months ago. This may be an easy question, but how often do you recommend the average investor monitor his or her portfolio, assuming there is sufficient diversification? It really hurts to see some declines in some stocks, particularly energy.

Q: Hi Guys

Took over a 50% Haircut on Morrison Supermarkets in the U.K. Sold it in early October, with the idea I would use it for a tax loss and then re-purchase it after 30 days.
My feelings are mixed now that the position has been sold for close to a month, I know the competition is fierce with the arrival of the discounters, you only have to look at Tesco.Do you see value in Morrison at these levels considering they could monetize some of the real estate value of their grocery stores.
Thanks Gord
