Q: Hi,
Care to comment on RBC's downgrade of BIN? One of their main key points was BIN's significant footprint in energy producing locales and they feel that BIN could experience pricing and volume pressures as crude prices impact regional GDP. In your last response to a question on BIN you said,"We added it to the portfolios largely because of its leverage to lower oil prices, its US revenue (60%) and its largely recession-proof business." Do you think RBC's concerns about lower crude affecting pricing trump the benefits of cheaper transport costs? It would appear the market does, BIN down 5% today after not much volatility lately.
thanks.

Q: hi gang any thoughts on this co PJC-A.TO I am looking to buy as a long term 2-3 years . thanks.
Q: My question is regarding Foran Mining (FOM) .Since i last inquired about it almost 2 years ago it appears a lot of very good things have happened to the company.Especially this past week. Can you look through some of the releases and comment on them ? also, the stock seems to have very good inside ownership along with a very strong shareholder base.Would you also agree that having Pierre Lassonde owning %10 is a great vote of confidence in the project ? The Zinc sector sure appears to be ripening at a great pace on the LME and 2 large zinc mines have yet to close this year. IN your opinion is management able to execute what is best for FOM shareholders. Some results are pending but what are some of the options available to management at this point. i know this is a small and risky situation but i did get in early and look forward to your comments . thanx Norm
Q: good morning, would you guys happen to have a opinion on this stock as its lost a lot of its share price and I was wondering if it could be a decent risky buy ,if that makes sense.
Q: What is your opinion of this company?
There is so much merger and acquisition going on in the US, I am wondering if this company may be a candidate for someone like Coke to pick up?

Q: I am looking for safety, income and some capital appreciation, like to have your choice, and or additional others.
Q: The stock got pounded today because of the rights offering which seems to happen whenever companies raise capital in this manner. What is your take on rights offering in general? Why is that route taken as opposed to a share offering? Thaks.
Q: Since March 25, 5 guests on BNN have recommended EFN. I own the stock and I am up 30%. You made some comments on April 1.
What has changed in the past few weeks to prompt this number of recommendations?
Is it time to cash out, hold or buy more?
Thanks.

Going forward with buying some stocks recommended from your portfolios just wondering if it is just better to purchase the amount up to 5-10% in one account?
Thanks

Q: What percentage of the growth stocks should make up for a total portfolio as you mentioned that these stocks should not be the only stocks in a well balanced portfolio? If I was to make my RRSP the income portfolio and then have my TFSA and also have an investment account outside the RRSP what would be the percentage?
