Q: Is there any news on Granite REIT or is it falling due mostly due to expectations of rising interest rates? It appears to have dropped below any recent support levels. Being down 15% in my holding, is now the time to add more or perhaps move out of REITs all together towards another sector (which) or another REIT (say DIR.un)?

Q: This continues to grind lower and I am thinking it may have gone past a reasonable decline. Any comments you could provide would be appreciated before I start building a position.
Q: Please comment on WEF's Balance sheet and key risks facing the company.
Q: What is your interpretation of the reason for the sudden announcement today of the "retirement" of the president and chief operating officer effective tomorrow. The timing is very suspicious. Thanks
Q: Nice volume and price aprreciation last few days. I did take a 1% position primarily based on your recommendation and I thank you for this. Anything you are aware of that may be driving this.? Also when does company next report?
Thanks

Q: I am trying to get a better understanding of the cash postion for Tesla. I have read, heard people state that Tesla should buy back stock, I have heard people say that they have lots of money. Looking at the balance sheet, the cash position is exactly what I hear people state. They have $26B in cash (plus about $2.5B in receivables); however, when I look at their current liabilities, it is about $26B. Am I wrong to think that their net cash position is position pretty close to 0 (plus the $2.5B in receivables). And if we consider that their cash position has not been growing in leaps and bounds, they do not really have very much cash as their current cash position would be required to pay their current liabilities. Is my logic correct (if not can you add a little explanation as to why not)? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, in my RRSP account I have 100 shares of BN and received 25 shares of BAM . BAM as you know has the better dividend. Would it be wise to sell the 100 shares of BN and by the same amount of BAM, just wondering. Thanks, Nick
Q: Hi Folks,
I have a fairly well diversified and conservative RRSP portfolio but I am a little overweight TD and the financial sector in total. I am thinking selling some TD and buying a 3% position in LIF. I have nothing in the Materials sector. Can I have your opinion on LIF and on whether or not this is a wise trade at this time.
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I am thinking of getting back into INO for the dividend. I have owned it in the past but sold it before the market volatility.
At the current share price it looks attractive but do you think the dividend is reasonably safe? (Recognizing you don’t have a crystal ball)
And do you see a more optimistic future for INO if interest rates decline next year?
If you think there are better REITs with comparable dividends any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for all you do!

Q: This excellent question was answered by your team on oct 30 th.
"I'm wondering if you could suggest 20 Canadian stocks, with a minimum yield of 3.5%, that you would purchase NOW. This list could include ETFs."
I shall ask a similar question but for only 12 US stocks or ETFs in my TFSA ,the goal being safety+ dividends + some growth ,many thanks

Q: On October 24 you answered a question with the following " ZSP we think is fine for general US exposure (dollar hedged)" my understanding has been that ZSP is not hedged, and I found other sources supporting that. Am I wrong or misunderstanding, or did you misspeak? Thanks
