Q: I just sold half my position in Nvidia in my TSFA.
Can you please suggest some replacements in US$? Something more conservative .

Q: Hi. I need to generate some cash out of a portfolio holding these positions. Can you please rank the noted companies in terms of which you would sell now based on current valuations and outlook over the next 2-3 years?

Q: This has been my only gold stock but except for a nice dividend, it has gone nowhere with the price of gold skyrocketing.
I’d like to replace it with something with more torque. Any suggestions! AEM and WPM have skyrocketed. Would they still be buys? Perhaps B2gold will move next year when their mines come on stream?

Q: I currently have a full position in LULU and am currently around break even. I am a bit nervous about LULU and your most recent comments have been a bit ambivalent. I'm thinking of switching to either CROX ( low PE which is uncommon these days, it seems) and ULTA ( the Buffett blessing). I like LULU and my wife (yoga instructor) has many LULU pieces as do all of her friends. So brand loyalty is strong, at least from one data point but what about the next five years? Stay or go? Thanks

Q: I was looking for companies that manufacture municipal water pipes. This is the only publicly traded, pure-play company I could find (there are others in the water infrastructure space that make valves, smaller drainage pipes, hydrants, software, etc.). Are you aware of any other companies that focus on the large water-carrying pipes? And what are your thoughts of this company as a long term investment? Its historical chart is a bit rocky but it's up 60% over the last year? Does it still have some room to grow?

Q: Fortis doesn’t seem to be getting much love from analysts, I think more holds and sells than buys? The target price (understanding your feelings about analyst’s targets) is also less than the current price I believe. I thought the prospect of lower rates would be a tailwind. What is the bear case? What say you?

Q: I already own APD. I had been watching it bought it less than a year ago after some bad news where the stock dropped 15% in a day. I am up 50% on it at this point.

I am considering adding LIN to my portfolio as it seems to have some favorable tail winds and ratings....however I am wondering if these stocks are different enough to provide any diversity. There is a lot of variety on industrials. Am I picking two options that are too close together?

Q: I have held WMT for about 9 years and it has been a good performer (17.6% annual return) during this time. This year its stock price is up 55% despite its earnings growing at around 4%. I note that its current PE is very high relative to its 5-yr PE. Obviously, I like WMT but I am concerned that it is overpriced relative to its past metrics and, possibly, other stocks in this sector. If you were faced with this issue in your portfolio what would you do and why (I am particularly interested in the 'why'). Thanks in advance for your opinions; I find selling a stock difficult particularly when it has been a long-term winner and I trying to develop a better framework for handling these types of situations.
