Q: Hi Guys:
Just wondering what your opinion is of buying before earnings announcement on this one. Est is +.03, and noticed they did beat on the last two quarters. Would appreciate you candid response.

Q: PHM just released the statement - PHM Unaware of Any Material Change

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwired - Jul 29, 2015) - Patient Home Monitoring Corp. ("PHM") (TSX VENTURE:PHM), a fast growing and profitable company focused on rolling-up annuity-based healthcare service companies in the US and Canada, at the request of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), wishes to confirm that its management is unaware of any material change in PHM's operations that would account for the recent decrease in its stock price.

Hopefully, it will calm down the market a bit. Publish if it help 5i members.

Q: Would you recommend buying into more PHM at this point? I bought a half postion at $1.50. From the comments you've made so far it seems that you're still confident in PHM, and that the massive drop in share price the past week is unwarranted. If that's the case this could be a good buying opportunity in a panicked market.

Q: This morning Canada Insider shows Dalsin and Greene each granted 3 millions of share option and 4 millions of shares bought @1.36 through acquisition carried out privately. This is consistent with what Dalsin mentioned on conference call. Publish if you think it will help members. Thanks!

Q: I own too much and it is still falling... at 80 cents now. I just don't understand why that call would cause a 50% drop... it wasn't that bad IMHO. Is something else going on? Should I sell?

Q: A family member asked for some advice on what to do with sinking shares of Cenovus, in order to preserve capital, after a 50% loss. In the medium term, I thought it might be safe to park the money in Boralex, BLX, with no excessive volatility, and a decent yield, and showing some signs of growth. He would like to recapture some of its losses, since this is within an RSP. Something relatively "safe" but still growing. What are your thoughts? Would this be a wise choice? Any other suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you, as always.

Q: I sold my position on ENB (made a 17% profit)and purchased half positions in Fiera and Ag Growth..I plan to repurchase ENB after the utilities and commodities sector improves. Because my thinking was FSZ and Ag have more chance of growing in the short term of the next 1 to two years. Do you agree with this approach?

Q: In the 15 June 2015 Interim Financial Statements/report, there is a loss for the period of $ (28,336).

The next section attributes this loss to two entities:
Non-controlling interest $ 3,062
Shareholders of Clearwater $ (31,398)

Can you explain who/what the non-controlling interest is, and why they make money in the quarter? Thanks Cameron

Q: Hi Peter,

After reaching a new high several weeks ago, Boyd seems to be dropping quite steadily including today. I would expect that they would benefit from growing operations in the us but is this a general reaction to everything paying a dividend or did I miss some report or analyst downgrade on the stock.

Q: My question is regarding TSL (Tree Island Steel) who today released 2nd quarter results.Could you please comment on the latest numbers ? Please state pros and cons with regards to this company being the great entity it once was prior to the housing collapse of '08. Would you know what % of their sales is derived from residential, commercial , industrial & agricultural sectors ? are they as vulnerable to the Chinese dumping very cheap fasteners on the market today as they were in their heyday ? thanx Norm

Q: so everyone's favorite company took it on the chin and convalo and inspira went down in sympathy with phm.
dalsin and greene did everything right and the street loved them, then they made a huge misstep selling shares, not being forthcoming with the market, appointing new ceos, putting some shares into a health fund. The first bad news is never the last bad news.please comment. dave
