Q: Good Afternoon!

I have been keeping an eye on this recommendation since your last update, and since bottoming out in the $.25 range, this stock has been moving upwards. It is receiving more coverage including a recommendation from Fabrice Taylor. Can you provide an update on this company, why is it moving up again, and if you now consider its prospects in a better light. I would love if you could include a review of it current financials and fundamentals! Thanks!!

Q: This question has little to do with this particular VSE stock but it is an example of today of my frustration on these smaller companies and their reporting. My understanding is that TSE and NYSE firms must report their quarterly numbers within 90 days of that date and usually they give you a 10-15 day heads-up of when these numbers will be announced. I believe VSE listed companies are given 120 days to announce results and from what I can see, they are under no obligation to state what day this will be announced. Am I right in my assumptions? Is there any way to know where to look for when these results might be posted or are you supposed to guess?

Q: Greetings: I'd like an update on what you see for Endo International going forward. I hold it because I held Paladin. It has been behaving well lately, but I have no idea why or what to anticipate for the stock. I have no other pharma/healthcare exposure.

If you feel its future is weak, one of my thoughts is to sell it and buy either one or both Conncordia/Catamaran. (In TFSA so no tax implications.) This would enable me to follow Canadian stock/s through questions submitted to 5i.

If you feel ENL's future is fairly strong, another thought is to gradually sell shares in ENL and buy shares in GUD (Knight) to increase risk/growth potential gradually over time. If you feel that is a good option, could you guide me (if possible) as to when/how to stage that gradual selling. I believe you see Knight as being in a five-year time frame. Maybe I could sell/buy 20% per year? Or some other fraction.

I realize that this is a hard question. I guess the answer depends on what you see for ENL/EDNP going forward.
Thanks once again for great service.

Q: Hi Peter and team - Argonaut Gold announced today a shareholders rights plan. Generally is this a positive or negative for the stock. Also is it possible that this indicates they are anticipating a hostile takeover bid sometime in the future. Thanks.

Q: Many small tech stocks such as Prometics (PLI), Patient Home Monitoring (PHM), CRH Medical (CRH), etc. and large ones such as Concordia (CXR) and Constellation (CSU) have tripled, quadrupled and more! These stocks either keep going up or flatline for a period. It's hard to buy a stock that has increased 400-500% within the last 12-18 months.
I own small positions in the first three and want to add some positions. I don't mind risk if the rewards can be so great.
Can you rate PHM, PLI and CRH and suggest any new small tech ones that have such magnificent potential?
Thank you.

Q: Following your recent comments on Tck, can you please comment on their overall debt level. Specifically the Deferred income and resource taxt liabilties in the amount of approx. 6B$ on their balance sheet. Can you explain what it is and is it considered real debt that has (or will have) to be repaid ? I was holding Tck in 2008-09 when things got pretty bad and from what I remember, the balance sheet of the company is better now (2MB$ cash + revolving) at current commodity prices. I hope they learned from 08 as I believe it is the same CEO ?. I like the diversification, dividend and upside potential. Do you think the risk return scenario is appealing for 5 year +. Thank you.

Q: Re Louisa question today - If by tax reporting she means the T1135 "Foreign Income Verification Statement", it would not be considered foreign content for that purpose and would not have to be reported. Post if you wish.

Q: This question is about establishing a diversified portfolio of 4 ETF's with the goal of long term gains without having to carefully monitor ones portfolio.
At initiation, an equal amount of money would be invested in each ETF, (Horizon Active Floating Rate Bond - for fixed income), (i-shares TSX Dividend Aristocrats for Canadian exposure) (BMO S&P 500 for American exposure), and (BMO MCSI EAFE INDEX) for global exposure. At the end of the year the portfolio would be re-balanced.

For a person who can't carefully monitor his portfolio:
1. Do you consider this to be a viable investment strategy?
2. Do you agree with the ETF choices and if not would you please suggest alternatives in the 4 categories?

As always, thanks so much for your valued suggestions.

Q: Good morning and thank you for the excellent service!

What are your thoughts on EDV's potential going forward in what seems to be a healthier gold price environment? How do they rank in terms of B/S strength, valuation, cost of production, growth potential versus peers? Are there other mid-cap names you would prefer?

Cheers
