Q: I bought this stock back in Jan. 2013 @ .64 and it is now down to .6…….is there any reason to keep it …..hoping it may come back. Would appreciate any input on this company. Thanks

Q: Hello 5i,

I am considering a change in my telecom stocks, specifically selling Windstream (WIN) and buying Consolidated Communications Holding (CNSL). I am looking for stability and the long term potential. The stock chart of CNSL looks much better.

Q: I have reviewed some answers to questions that deal with the issue of hedging US exposure but am not certain as to your position on this matter. I realize the difficulty of trying to forecast currency movements but at present, with the Canadian dollar already off more than 20% within the last year, does it make sense to still favor the unhedged US ETF'S? Today seems to offer a prime example of the potential pitfalls of non hedged funds - while 1 day does not define a trend, we have a rising US market with the hedged US ETF'S also rising and the unhedged ones falling due to strength in the Canadian dollar - so what would be the best strategy going forward, over a 3-5 year term, for a non registered trading account in Canadian funds - hedged or unhedged US ETF'S?

Q: Would you agree we are still in a large-cap market, especially in the US? Is it a good time to move into small-cap and mid-cap positions, such as XUU (US exposure) and the Mawer Global small cap fund (global exp.) and any suggestions for Cdn small cap exposure?

Q: Which would you choose between these 2? I know that ATB is much, much larger and successful but is it getting too pricey? Would PKI be a good substitute? I really like this kind of company as I think they present reasonably stable but growable parts of the economy. Do you share my thinking that now is the time to get in on the ground floor of PKI or would yo go with ATB?
