Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Would you recommend subscribing for these IPO shares for a well-diversified income (and hopefully capital gain)portfolio, and if not, are other other utilities you would recommend instead?
Thank you

Q: Hi, Peter and Co.
In view of a significant AND constant increase of supply of Natural gas worldwide, how would you characterize the future of PSk.
I own a small/medium position and back to same as last year. Notwithstanding the dividend, not very optimistic as to it's future growth prospect.
You may have a different opinion, thanks for sharing,
Claude

Q: Hi 5i,

How do you feel about CRH at current levels? I like the company as it generates real FCF (1-2M per month), but I am concerned that their could be a structural shift outside of healthcare as companies continue to blow up (e.g. PHM, CXR, VRX, NHC).

Would you recommend CRH as a pick in the junior healthcare space? Do you think it will play catch up and drop down to its peers performance? Seems to be holding here at the 4 dollar level.

Thanks in advance.

Q: I hold BTE-T and ERF-T and Im over 50% under water on both - originally I invested 3% of my portfolio in each stock (Im comfortable with that weighting). Would you advise averaging down and getting the % back to 3%? Or do I just hold and hope that with a massive oil recovery I may get back to my ACB (gains look unlikely on these two)? Thanks, Neil

Q: Can you tell me CBL's book value per share? And the dividend payout ratio?
Do you see it being taken private like CIBC has speculated? Thanks.

Q: I need to add to utilities sector to re-balance my portfolio. You have been recommending Enbridge as the best bet in utilities, is it still the case? In fact, I can add either CDN or US company (have free cash in both accounts), so I am also considering KMI.US - I like the dividend and the stats seems to be better than for CDN utilities. If you had to choose one utilities stock in Canada or US based on a combo of dividend and growth, which one would it be? Dividend is not that important for me at the moment, but it's always nice.
