Q: In the name of "cutting the weeds," I'm down 20% or more on the above names (LIT:US; CTS:CA; TCN:CA; TSU:CA and TMO:US.) Are there any of them that you would get rid of at this time. Or do you think that they will have more upside from this point. If you don't like one, which would you recommend to replace it. Thanks.

Q: Good afternoon!
I would appreciate an update on your views about the residential arm of Dream. They seem to be doing well, but I was hoping you might help me spot any red flags here, or point out where I am not seeing the data correctly. My cursory review noted the following:
1) Debt to assets only 31.9%
2) Stock price at 50% NAV
3) Paid $10.5 distributions, out of $.18 FFO, which implies a payout ratio of only 58%, which seems low and I would think adds to some margin of safety for a small firm.
4) Actually are buying back stock, although minimally.
5) Dividend seems very good at almost 7%.

Thanks!
Paul

Q: Reading through the questions and answers on a regular basis gives a good idea of a lot of the Canadian companies you favour as investments, such as CSU/LMN/TOI, GSY, SHOP, BN/BAM, SU/CNQ/TOU, WSP, TFII, SLF, ATD, BYD, TRI. I'm wondering if you have any seldom discussed Canadian stocks that you like, small cap, higher risk stocks OK. Some names that people might not be as familiar with that have some good upside potential. Companies producing good financial results that perhaps aren't fully recognized in the stock market.

Q: This is my first year investing in a non registered account. I've invested with BMO Investorline. My question is do I trust the average cost they post for each stock? How do I verify it is correct? I can set up an excel spreadsheet but not sure how to accurately figure out the adjusted cost base. Thank you.

Q: Hi team,
What do you think of Gsy’s note offering priced at 9.25%. This is a shocker rate to me. Is this why the stock is down on a great market day today ? Despite this, Mr. Mullens did add that this was already priced in their future outlook in regards to growth targets. If all their debt is going to go from 5%-9% range though this sounds concerning does it not ?

Thanks ,
Shane

Q: When a stock trades at a ratio of revenue to enterprise value of less than one, does it imply great value especially if the revenues are mostly recurring? It seems like a lot of small cap tech names are in that category.

Q: Realizing that PFE's dividend has been rising annually at only about 3% in recent years, and recognizing that a portion of "moving the growth needle" will be done by acquisition, would it still be a good buy at around the $27 level (longterm technical support) ?

Also:

-How does their debt situation compare to its historical measure?

- Do you have any thoughts regarding AI in the sector, and whether or not PFE is currently using it ?

Q: May I please get your thoughts on this company and maybe how it compares to other oil companies like suncor/exxon/chevron. It looks like PSX are more concentrated in refining than production. Thanks.
