Q: hi

In my non-registered a/c:
I'm down 23% on Russel Metals. I have a 2% position. Industrials make up 10% of my holdings.

I'm down 10% on Artis. I have a 2% position.
REITS make up 16% of my holdings.

I have this urge to average down whenever I lose 10% or more on a holding.

Should I resist the urge to add to my REITS and add to Industrials instead? The 8% yield on Artis is appealing.
Thoughts?
What Sector would you be overweight in these days if any?

Thanks

Q: Your updated views on TPK please. I noticed Cormack recently initiated coverage of the Company. Based on their estimates, the Company trades at ~5x EV/EBITDA with ~14 fcf yield, 3.5% yield + 25% payout ratio.

I find this to be abnormally cheap for a company with decent growth prospects and a high margin business. Would you recommend purchasing shares? Have you met management?

Cormark thinks a reasonable multiple is 8x EV, which i tend to agree with. That yields a target of 13 dollars, which is considerably higher than the current share price. What do you think?

Q: Good Morning,

I Hold CJR.B,CHE.UN,PZA, and BAM.A and each has weight of 5% in my portfolio. Which one of these are interest sensitive and should I continue to hold them or which one should I get rid?

Except for PZA I am all under water in each one of them. PZA has been going down since the bought deal. Usually a bought deal is there to buy another company and not for operational purposes since it dilutes the share earnings. What do you think this bought deal will be use for?

Tahnks

Q: A while back I had bought 100 shares of LPG : NYSE. I had asked a question about it at the time but your team could not comment on it as they did not know anything about it. Currently it is trading at $15.16 a share. I wondering if your team has since looked at it and if so what are your thoughts on it, thank-you for your time.

Q: I just noticed that Enghouse is to be included in the TSX Composite Index and the Dividend index. (I think those are the correct terms)

First, what exactly are these indexes? Does getting listed on these say anything about the company itself? What are the criteria for getting put there?

I know that this can result in an increase in buying/selling as various indexes and funds buy the stock to fulfil mandates. What I don't know is how valuable or important it is to the company and/or investors. Does it speak to financial strength, ability to get loans or raise capital or is it just the result of a mathematical calculation?

Thanks for the insight.

Q: Hi there,

Any ideas as to what Goldcorp may be doing with all the raised as of late, and the money raised with the sale of Tahoe? Just paying down debt? Are there any companies on their radar? If so, which ones would be logical fits with their plans in your experience?

Thanks,

Arturo
