Q: Theres a lot of speculation this will be sold between $200-$350 US. The insiders seem to be selling. Is it just hype? alot of shares are trading. Thanks

Q: I have held CAE for a couple of years and while is has gone up, it is does not appear to be set for any kind of dynamic growth. It has been particularly frustrating because it appears that it should - well capitalized, good backlog, growing area, unique technology among other advantages.
Would you consider switching this for MDA? I don't want to give up on CAE too early and there is nothing wrong with 10%+ growth annually but I am wondering if MDA could offer the same but within a "growthier" storyline.
Appreciate the insight.

Q: Coke is up 11% this week, 20% this month, and 50% this year. This stock hasn't risen this fast in 30 years. Any idea what the heck is going on and would you buy into it at this point?
Q: Do you know what is currently happening with CEB down significantly today on no news? Thanks for your help.
Q: At 14x PE, American Express seems like a value, attractive buy, do you agree?
Q: Dear Peter, Would you please give me your assessment of this stock-to keep or not to keep? Thank you for your honest work!
Q: Hello team, this stock is up huge 2 days in a row and I am wondering why. Any inside scoop?
Q: From time to time I run across a small cap that looks interesting. What fundamental and/or technical metrics do you use to evaluate a small cap? Can an individual access any/all of these?

Q: Hi team, I have a small position (bought on a whim) which is underwater now and I'm doing my due diligence after the fact :-( Would love your opinion - it's meant to be a longterm hold for income and some growth. Thanks!

Q: HI,
I bought a small stakee in ACQ(1 %) (after having sold it ata good profit) just in time for it to decline 42 %.I would almost need ACQ to double from here to break even. I am think that either of XTC or GC is more likely to double sooner.
Would selling ACQ and buying XTC with the proceeds be a good idea? I own Amaya (5%) and Magna (1.5%). Or should I just top up ACQ ?
Thanks in advance

Q: Tamarack Valley Energy recently completed an asset acquisition and appears to have one of the better management teams. I would appreciate your comments on the both, thank you.
Q: I've been helping my son build a portfolio of stocks and so far he has the usual collection of banks, pipelines and utilities that pay dividends and that he can DRIP. Since he is only 23, he'd like to add two growth stocks to his portfolio. In the model portfolio, I've looked at Amaya, which has more than doubled this year (and faces insider trading problems) and ccl.b, which has gone up over 50%. At this point in time, with a longer time frame, what 2 growth stocks would you recommend for us to consider?
Q: Hi Peter and Team: Given your market update would you take some profits in your portfolio holdings that has a big gain? In our fall Fed election if a change in government it might affect the market further. Your comments please. Thank you for your insight.
Q: In light of current market conditions, what would you recommend as an appropriate level of exposure to the oil and gas sector for an income portfolio?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Mr. Hodson, any obvious reason for Constellation Software weakness ? Just preparing itself for better jumping, or general weakness for bigger caps companies ?
Q: JUST A COMMENT, from Stockhouse

think about your strategies
This stock has been range bound for a year. When it gains traction, the incessant attack from the Globe pulls it down again. When do you think the inevitable break out occurs? With Bwin, US entry and sportbetting all around the corner and the Casino roll out. With delivery over and over again by Baasov and a hedge fund in at 30 to 34. Do you want to miss the rocket launch? You won't ever get in at the price you sell. Period.
Mr. Hodson, would you care to comment on the above ?

Q: On Friday Enbridge said it has reached a long anticipated deal to transfer some of its Canadian pipeline and renewable energy assets to Enbridge Income Fund. This move is to allow ENB to boost its dividend and accelerate growth.
While ENB common was up significantly its preferred shares (including ENB.PR.A (B, H, N, etc.) where all down.
Are the preferred shares riskier now than they were before the announcement? Do the preferred represent good value? If so, is there any series that you would favour?

Q: Would you please provide comments on this company. Last October in an answer to Dave it was supposed to fold and be gone. It is still around. Is it now a buy?? Thanks for the great info as always.
Q: Hi 5i team: given your answer to Gord on June 19, what should individual investor do, sit tight and wait for it to come up again? I am reluctant to take cap gains to bump up my taxable income.
