Q: Hi Peter! Just to tell Josh this: you can please someone all the time, or you can please everyone for some time, but you can not please everyone all the time. Peter, we have to go on. Thanks for all you do.

Q: Hi, Peter
I would like to have a confirmation of the deal price.
David mentioned $ 86.5 on the 28th, you did not correct him.
Then Walter the same day mentioned $65, you did not correct him either.
So what is the deal price, it add to the enormous confusion.
Now another question/comment (please take 2 points is you think so):
I was looking this morning at the Biotech chart (Nasdaq IBB)from the yearly perspective it seems that it will test the August lows which is the norm these days (testing the lows).
BUT then I looked at the 10 years of the same chart. From the end of 2011 to today it went from 83 to 284.Is this not a gigantic bubble and if the pharma/biotech space is having "a bit" of a stumble these days, don't you think the bad times are just beginning, and Clinton has not much to do with a simple case of another bubble exploding?
Ps : I have asked you a private question last thursday and did not get an answer, is it lost?

Thanks for your answer
Claude

Q: Do you still prefer AGU over POT and if so can you give details as to why? I'm noticing a higher debt level than POT particularly when compared to market cap or enterprise value. My biggest concern is 1/ dividend sustainability and even more so 2/ getting thru a horrific storm (if this thing gets much worse) without going under.

Q: as a subscriber I am very disappointed in your service and guidance .
At this moment all the stocks you recommended are down.
On top of this I had to pay for your advice and keep holding on and loose more every day.
Thought you would steer the investment ship better in troubled times as well

Q: I am thinking of investing in the REIT space ( individual company or ETF) for income in a registered account. In looking at XRE I note that CSH.un is not now listed in the holdings. Would you have any comment on a reason for it being dropped?

Do you have any preference between XRE or ZRE?

As always -thank you for your guidance.

Q: The healthcare and biotech stocks have been hammered badly, would you distinguish them from the retirement residence ones like CSH.un, EXE, SIA and NWh.un? I am looking for dividend and capital appreciation, would you rate the ones above, perhaps, suggest others.
Many thanks, J.P. Burlington

Q: I am hoping to use the market weakness to pick up some of the names I don't currently have from the model portfolio. Do you still recommend SYZ and SJ as buys at this time? I have half a position in CXI and was thinking of topping it up to a full. Does this make sense at this time?

Q: Jason Donville not long ago was on BNN and CRX was one of his favourites. He will be on BNN shortly and people will ask him about Concordia and he will probably say I got out of that in mid Sept. at $117.00 because he didn't like the idea of them issuing all the shares. By the time I was aware of this share issuing thing with Concordia the stock was under $100.00. Is there any place that people can keep up to date on movements these companies are doing to cause the stock to go down? Thank you. Dennis

Q: I would like to add to a request from Denis today regarding figuring out when to sell.
A set of guidelines would be really helpful if it is even possible to put together a coherent applicable strategy

As a side note, I am getting annoyed listening to some of the BNN guys or reading posts from all the other smart alecs who talk about sitting on piles of cash .... almost gloating at the market melt down ... while they appear to be rubbing their hands in glee .... over all the bargains that are out there. All the while I sit here in agony - and I used to think I was risk tolerant, but have discovered they are more limited than I thought - while watching so many of your and our favorite names fall apart - not just 10% (if only!) but more like 20-30 % or worse. And now even to break even some massive price increases are going to be required.

I want into that other game.

What do I do?

Hoping to learn another lesson after seeing so many terrific gains evaporate.

Thanks in advance.

Q: Hello gentlemen,

Does it make sense to utilize my tfsa to the maximum allowable contribution amount first before depositing into RRSP? Im thinking yes since we are having to pay tax when we withdraw from RRSP upon retirement.
I look forward to your reply.

Q: If you could only buy one of BOS and XTC which would you choose?
Read Answer Asked by Carla on September 28, 2015
Q: Your response to Carla, "With some new uncertainty around the auto sector and trade agreements, XTC looks a bit better right now after its $6 drop for no real reason other than the market. "
I believe you meant to say BOS looks better because it is the stock that dropped $6.
