Q: What market data sources do you use for company financials and general company information such as market capitalization? There seems to be a big discrepancy between providers. For example, Morningstar shows the market cap for TOG as approximately $800MM CAD where as Yahoo Finance shows $1.1B CAD. This can have a material impact when computing metrics such as price/book value.

Q: Good Morning 5i

Looking for any comments on this O&G for a 3 year hold. Recommended on BNN yesterday. I'm concerning the Iranian oil arrival may cause a decrease in prices in next few weeks. Is it your view that a headwind will result and I should wait another month or two before jumping in on this one?

Any other recommendation for 3 yr. hold instead of ZEO?

Thank you!

Q: If I may ask a follow up question seeking further clarification to my query from yesterday.
As I interpret your answer, now is the time as good as any to deploy new money; instead of holding on to the cash until the new year.
The second part of the question is where I request some clarification. The question is about the market. I am looking for your opinion on what would lead(define) the market going into 2016? Will it be the small mid caps in the growth portfolio or companies in the balanced portfolio? Is it going to be Wells Fargo or the Russell Index? Is it Magna or is it AirBoss and Intertain Group?
I have a mix of the Balanced Equity and Growth portfolio 70:30 and the new money will not change the mix by much. In your opinion what kind of stocks will impact the market higher over the next 6to9 months?
Regards

Q: Today's Before the Bell news release encourages investors to take advantage of stock rallies and take some profits off the table on stocks trading at high valuations. Besides Concordia Health Care, can you list a few more stocks that you think are trading at high valuations. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and team.

Could you please comment on Savaria's latest earnings report. I know you do not follow it extensively, but would you say it might be a 5i type of company? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Please give me your current evaluation of PAA. How is there balance sheet, management and assets? They are at a multi year low and this quarter may depress it further.Do you think we are close to a bottom? Any hope for silver recovering in the next year or two? Will PAA be a sector survivor?
Thanks for your insights as always!
P.S. You were great on BNN the other day!

Q: I am wondering about pipeline coating companies, as they should be in demand regardless of the falling price of oil. SCL and EFX appear to have the best fundamentals in the sector, given their payout ratios, price/sales and price/book and both are significantly down over the past 12 months. I am wondering: 1) is this a good sector given a 2-5 year time frame; 2) are these the 2 best companies in the sector to consider; and 3) which one would you choose if I only bought one, and why? Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I was ready to buy Cinemark, waited for their report, thought at first glance it looked reasonable - and am surprised at how the stock price has reacted. Can you please comment?

Thank you very much.
