Q: Could you please comment on the statement update released by the company today on "investment in working capital" Why did they feel giving this update was important and what is it really saying? What is "non-cash working capital"? Overall is there anything in the statement to be concerned about or pleased about? Thank you for your expertise !!

Q: Further to my question regarding conversion of series 4 preferred shares, here is a recent comment from James Hymas, who is a pref shares guru: http://prefblog.com/?p=31665
"...If you wanted a true indication of the value of Dundee’s proposal to the Series 4 shareholders, then Dundee could have extended the term for those shareholders, that might be delusional enough to accept the deal. However, on that basis, I’m sure that it would be a small minority.
I agree. The proposal runs contrary to the usual method of term-extension for retractible preferred shares in Canada (which happens frequently, if not exclusively, with Split Share preferreds), in which there is almost always a “Special Retraction Right” allowing unhappy shareholders to exit their investment on the original terms.
That, I should hope, will be the objective of any beneficial shareholders who are in discussions with the company."

Q: Can you give an update on this company?" Is the company now a good long term hold for divisends?
Q: It's in a run, am I too late or is it a good long term investment. I have been looking for an alternative energy investment
Q: Like your opinion on Chorus Aviatione for my tax-free savings account. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you. Jack
Q: I am retired and have some cash sitting in a bank savings account earning very little. I am thinking about taking a portion of that cash and buying a short duration Corporate Bond etf such as RBO,RQI or RQE. What are your thoughts on these funds/etfs and do you have any other suggestions.
Thanks Ken
Thanks Ken
Q: RBC has Corporate Laddered Bond ETF'S ( Ex. RQE ,RQF etc )They mature in Nov of ea. year, interest paid monthly.Do you consider these a good option over other laddered products like CBO for ex.? Any disadvantages ? Other better suggestions?
Q: Can not find much info about them, please update on the overall picture of 2015 and direction, thanks.
Q: Time to get out ?
Q: Hi, I just noticed that Pembroke Management Ltd, started a new position in Sylogist with 2,459,800 shares as at Nov/30/2015, per Morningstar. Is it possible to verify this information and who did they acquire this large block from/price and when? This will place them as the 2nd largest institutional owner (9.84%) of the company after CI Group and Mawer being 3rd. I find this really interesting as , after a steep decline, from a high of $12 and a financing at $11, last year, the stock appears to be showing some traction lately and company is has been buying back its stock aggressively. Thanks
Q: We would like to start dipping into energies and are considering WCP,NBZ and TOG.Could you comment please ?
Q: Happy Holidays. CBM which I hold is one of a few US stocks that I have on my 5i list of US stocks that you endorse. Three weeks ago it hit $55.00 and has been down daily over the last ten days to $48.00. I am at a break even point now. Obviously there must be something causing this steady selling of the stock and hopefully you can enlighten me about what it is. If there is any negativity in the company. Thanks Dennis
Q: I have a portfolio of about $1 m spread across 37 stocks? Is this too many holdings.
Q: I am down 22% on MRT.UN versus up 26% on CSH.UN with investments made at about the same time. I wanted to diversify a bit.
I like the almost 7% dividend that MRT.UN is paying but would like to see the share price come back up. How are they doing with leasing the retail spaces that became vacant or non paying when Target moved out?
Is it a buy, sell or hold. I might be happy to put more money in (RRIF) as long as there is not too much risk of downside.
Thanks your input.

Q: Now that tax loss selling is over, and you can see which stocks actually were sold off, which stocks in your Balanced and Growth portfolios do you consider most likely to bounce back?
Q: Hi
My holdings in VRX are near my purchase price after the bounce back from the short attack. I'm concerned about headwinds from the issues around the short and wonder if it would make sense to switch to one of CXR, CRH or GUD.Thanks Keith

Q: Good morning Peter and Team. Hope you all had great holidays.
Where would one find a history of a companies outstanding share count over time? Is there a convenient place to see the history of a company's share buy backs or new issues? Thanks,
Wes
