Q: Just a follow up to my question about my dividend sustainability question for BDI. You say the dividend was cut; do you mean it was cut entirely (to zero)? My ticker and the Globe show an 8% dividend.

So, if:

1) there is no dividend, what source should I be using when looking at stocks to make sure I have the whole picture.

2) if the dividend is still 7.9%, is that sustainable?

Q: How vulnerable do you see telecomm sector profits and dividends, and BCE's situation in particular, to (i) major advertisers moving advertising dollars from traditional TV to social media and video streaming platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, etc, and (ii) to a continuing trend to consumers eliminating traditional home phones? Q: Hi,
I would like your thoughts on these 2 companies, StorageVaultCanada Inc. SVI.V & Park Lawn Corp. PLC.TO.
It would be a small % in our portfolio.
The current price for : SVI.V $2.33 & PLC.TO $18.45 Are they worth buying at this price? if not what will be their entry price.

Q: Hi,
I've been accumulating a position of REI and SRU for a number of years for income. I've noticed not so good performance in REI, would like to know if I keep accumulated just SRU over REI.

Q: I am not a big fan of gold as a place to be in the event of a disaster (rather be in the banks), and how much of a weighting of 5% would help your portfolio anyways.
Having said that, what is your opinion of OR if one decided to be in gold? Is it suitable as a long-term hold? Thanks
