Q: Hello.
Would you please comment on Insider Buying of SYZ.
Reports show CEO buying most of the shares traded on Jan 25 (37K against total 54K) and a standing order at start of the day today indicates either company or potential insiders continuing to buy.
Should an astute investor be buying with SYZ company purchases or let them hold up the market price and see what happens when company buying backs away?
For broader reference, clearly buying is positive but how dependable is this form of activity toward a positive individual investor outcome?
Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Q: Hi, Just read your review of Rdm very good review of a company with good potential. I am just curious, do you share your reviews with the companies top management? I personally think that would be a good idea and would benefit the company as well as shareholders because this would start a dialogue within the company about shareholder expectations from the perspective of an analyst/advisor to potential shareholders...Just my thoughts. Cheers, Shyam

Q: Hi,
During the next 2 months or so I will have an extra 120 K to put in stocks (or elsewhere). As I'm retired I will try to have a high income slice stocks. Can you give me 6 to 8 ideas for high dividend REIT or other stocks. Distribution 8% and more, monthly a plus, starting with the safer. A little volatility not a problem for me. I have now CUF.UN, KWH.UN, NWH.UN.
Thanks in advance.

Q: I understand it s a wild market out there but how can we explain price change in excess of 7% daily in the price of oil ? Short sellers covering ? Are they that big ? If somebody can influence the price that much in the short term is it not somewhat concerning ? Your general comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Q: My question pertains to all of my mutual funds. It appears that there is at least a 1 day delay in the on-line values of my funds: on days when the market and the top 10 companies in a fund are down, the fund will show an increase and the opposite is also true. Do most funds rebalance daily?

Q: Hi all,

With the great market we are experiencing combined with regularly hearing from any objective individual that indexes are the best place for your money, should we not all be buying ETFs now? Really, why risk missing out on any recovery by playing specific stocks?

What ETFs would be your favourite right now, Cdn or US?

Thanks,

Cam
